The Army Public School, Ahmedabad with the present strength of 1700, was established on 01 July 1992 with the strength of 245 students from classes I to VIII. The School initially started functioning in the building which is presently occupied by Army Pre-Primary School, Ahmedabad Cantt. The school has been re-christened as Army Public School wef 01 July 2011 and affiliation is valid upto 31 Mar 2022 vide affiliation No 430021 (Old No 480004). As the strength of students and staff increased, the School was shifted to other location in the year 1998. Class X was added in the year 1994-95 and class XII (Science) in the year 1998-99. Commerce stream for class XI commenced with effect from academic session year 2008-09. The school was shifted to the present location in the year 2019. As on date, the strength of students in the school is 1700. The school is governed by AWES, AG’s Br, Integrated HQ of MoD (Army), New Delhi in accordance with the guidelines given in AWES Vol – I for Army Public Schools (25 Mar 2019) and is managed by the School Managing Committee.

2.All candidates will be tested for computer proficiency and a written test comprising Essay/ Comprehension (subjective language).
3.All the candidates appearing for the interview should bring all original educational certificates for verification and a lesson plan for evaluation of teaching skills of their respective subject.
4.Last date for submission of Application is 30 Jan 2023. Application should be sent by post only. Application received VIA E-mail will be rejected.
