Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 30 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country.The Institute is well known for its dedicated faculty, staff and the state-of-the art infrastructure conducive to a healthy academic environment.The Institute is constantly striving to achieve higher levels of technical excellence. Essential Qualifications:
☛ B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy or Metallurgical Engg. or Materials Engg. or Metallurgical & Material Engg. with M.E/M.Tech/MS in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and allied areas.
Desirable Qualification:
☛ Ph.D. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and allied areas. Direct Ph.D after B.Tech can also apply.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Pay package: Rs.60,000/- per month for Ph.D. holders and Rs.50,000/- per month for candidates who submitted Ph.D. thesis or with M.E/ M.Tech/ MS degree.
