Indian Institute of Forest Management is a premier national Institute engaged in education, training, research, and consultancy in the area of natural resource management. The Institute invites applications from Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officers for filling up the following positions in the faculty area of Technical Forestry on deputation basis:
💼 DESIGNATION / JOB POSITION
- Professor
- Associate Professor
- Assistant Professor
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
(i) Assistant Professor – Appointment of Indian Forest Service officers on deputation to IIFM in the scale of Level 12 of VII CPC Pay Matrix.
Eligibility: Indian Forest Service officers who have completed 9 years of service, shall be eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor.
(ii) Associate Professor – Appointment of Indian Forest Service officers on deputation to IIFM in Level 13-A2 of VII CPC Pay Matrix.
Eligibility: Indian Forest Service officers who have completed 14 years of service, shall be eligible for appointment as Associate Professor.
(iii) Professor – Appointment of Indian Forest Service officers on deputation to IIFM in the Level 14A of VII CPC Pay Matrix.
Eligibility: Indian Forest Service officers who have completed 18 years of service, shall be eligible for appointment as Professors.
(a) Desirable qualification: Preference will be given to candidates who have Ph.D. Degree
(b) Deputation tenure: The tenure shall initially be for five years and extendable for a further period of two years as per Govt. of India norms
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Assistant Professor Pay Level – 12 (Rs.1,01,500 – Rs.1,67,400)
Associate Professor Pay Level – 13A2 (Rs.1,39,600 – Rs. 2,11,800)
Professor Pay Level – 14A (Rs.1,59,100 – Rs.2,20,200)
