Indian Institute of Information Technology, Tiruchirappalli is an Institute of National Importance established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and one among the 20 IIIT’s proposed under the non-profit Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Model by MHRD. IIITT is an academic and research institute fully funded by Government of India, State Government of Tamil Nadu and Industry Partners in the ratio of 50:35:15. This institute presently offers two UG programs in ECE and CSE. The Institute is located at Tiruchirappalli (Oxford Engineering College campus) Tamil Nadu and construction of state of art campus is under progress. IIIT Tiruchirappalli invites applications for the posts of Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor Grade-I / Assistant Professor Grade-II from well-qualified and strongly motivated individuals. Applicants with a Doctoral degree from reputed Institutions in India and abroad with an excellent record on academics, high quality research, and commitment to teaching under Four-TierFlexible-Structure in the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering, Physics, English, Economics and Mathematics are eligible. Post-Doctoral Experience in reputed institutions in India and abroad will be an added advantage for faculty positions. Industry professionals having substantial professional and R&D experience with good number of quality publications in leading Journals or patents in relevant field can also apply

- Assistant Professor Grade II (On contract) Basic Pay: Rs. 70,900/- at Pay level 10
- Assistant Professor Grade II (On contract), Basic Pay: Rs. 71,000/- at Pay level 11
- Assistant Professor Grade I Basic Pay: Rs.1,01,500 at Pay level 12
- Associate Professor Basic Pay: Rs.1,39,600/- at Pay level 13A2
- Professor Basic Pay: Rs.1,59,100 at Pay level 14A

All qualifications and experiences will be considered up to the cut-off date. After this date, applications will be scrutinized by the committee every time and will be intimated on the Institute’s website

c) Applications submitted after 5.00 PM on 02/12/2022 will be rolled over to the next cohort for consideration.
