The Govt. of India conferred on the Institute, the Deemed to be University status (under University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956)) with effect from 26th June 2002. Subsequently, the Central Govt. by Act of Parliament (National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007 (29 of 2007)) declared VNIT Nagpur as an Institute of National Importance along with all other NITs. The Act was brought into force from 15th August 2007.

🎯 TITLE OF THE PROJECT
Title of Project: “Development of Guidelines for Seismic Analysis of Concrete Gravity Dam_IS:1893_PART 5”
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification (i) M. Tech. in Structures/Structural Dynamics/Geotechnical Engineering/ Soil Dynamics/ or equivalent stream.
Desirable Qualifications: GATE qualified and candidates having knowledge in finite element method software like ABAQUS, having conducted numerical and statistical analysis may apply.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Emoluments: Rs. 31000/- for first two years and Rs. 35000/- for third year payable as per SERB rule
