🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION
The Central University of Odisha (CUO), established under the Central University Act 2009 to address the growing educational needs of the Country, is located in Koraput, one of the finest places in terms of tranquility and weather throughout the year. The CUO has been making steady progress over the years so much so that it has emerged as a ‘Happening University’ in the Country. The University seeks to harness interdisciplinary research for sustained progress in ‘Education for Development’. Attracting outstanding academicians with talent and commitment is on the top of the CUO agenda of recruiting competent faculty. The new faculty are not only expected to conduct research and teaching programmes in their fields of specializations but arc also expected to carry out inter-disciplinary academic initiatives including the community outreach programmes and industry-academia interventions. The new crop of 590 students who are expected to join the CUO academic programmes of 2020-21 through CUCET 2020, comprise the core of bright students in the Country as they would be selected from a diversified all India pool of about 15,000 applicants. This number is not only encouraging but challenging to the teachers, researchers and administrators of the University. The current recruitment is seen as the harbinger of a series of faculty recruitments in the next two years in Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Public Health, Social Work, Political Science and Public Administration, Public Policy and Sustainable Development, among others. This is the roadmap with new initiatives of the academic progression of the CUO. The current NAAC B+ rating is expected to catapult us into A ranking.

A “Walk-in-Interview” will be held on 16.11.2022 at 10:00 A.M. for selection of one Project Fellow in the Project entitled “Metabolite Profiling and Bioprospecting of Underutilized Wild Yams (Dioscorea spp.) used by Tribals of Koraput, Odisha”, funded by Science and Technology Department, Govt of Odisha, under the supervision of Principal Investigator Dr. Debabrata Panda, Assistant Professor, Department of Biodiversity & Conservation of Natural Resources, Central University of Odisha, Koraput, Odisha-764021 for a period of three years.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Post-Graduate Degree in any branch of Life Sciences/ Botany/ Biodiversity/Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks with Knowledge on plant molecular marker analysis and plant biotechnology.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Emoluments: Rs. 17,000/- P.M. for 1st and 2nd year, Rs. 19,000/- P.M for 3rd year
