🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Qualifications:
Good academic record as defined by the University/UGC/Haryana Govt with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC. CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clause (i) and (i) the candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations. 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor Note: i) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s level for the SC/ST category and physically and visually handicapped Candidates
Age Not less than 21 years and more than 42 years of age (Age will be considered on or before the 15 days of last date of submission of application) for General Category and Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit to Schedule Caste. Schedule Tribes for all states & Backward Classes for Haryana and for women as per Stale Govt letter No 8/52-2006-CIV (3) Dated 06-04-07)
Candidate having knowledge of Sikh religion, heritage and value system will be given weight age/preference.
