Gharda Foundation’s Gharda Institute of Technology (GIT), the first engineering college established at Lavel in the Konkan region, is an advanced centre of learning. GIT is one of the top rural engineering colleges in Maharashtra, accredited by NAAC and spread over 65 acres of green campus.

💼 DESIGNATION / JOB POSITION
- Principal
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
- A Ph.D. Degree and a first class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Engineering/ Technology.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Teaching, Research, or Industry, with at least five years at the Professor level or above.
- At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor/ co-supervisor, and at least eight research publications in SCI journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals.
The above post is open to all, however candidates from any category can apply for the post. Reservation for women & disabled persons will be as per rules. Candidates having knowledge of Marathi will be preferred. The qualification & pay scale for the post of principal is as prescribed by the UOM, AICTE & DTE from time to time.
