College of Engineering, Trivandrum, India, popularly known as CET , has come a long way since its inception in 1939 by the Maharaja, the ruler of Travancore State. With a current strength of more than 4000 students, highly qualified engineering faculty, advanced laboratories, workshops and research centres, CET has become a sought after technical institution in the country for engineering studies. CET started its post graduate course in management as a part-time MBA in 1985. With the wide acceptance of the high calibre CET MBAs by the business community, a full time MBA programme was launched in 2000, as a well-timed initiative of Government of Kerala. The MBA programme is structured drawing on the inherent strengths of CET as a higher centre of learning enriched with contents encouraging value based growth, industry academia interactions and innovative learning practices. True to its reputation in engineering education, the Department of Business Administration of CET, now renamed as CET School of Management (CET-SOM) , has also succeeded in carving out its niche among the B-Schools in the country. This Department of CET is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation.

Eligibility for the post requires both Bachelors degree in any discipline and Masters degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever.grading system is followed) in the relevant area/branch or an equivalent branch with two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s degree. Ph.D, if any, should be awarded in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines from a UGC recognized University.
