IISER-Mohali (Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences) desires to hire a temporary field assistant position (3 months only) for field work in air pollution sampling. Last date for applications is 25.08.2022 by 5 pm.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
The details of the required qualifications & experience along with other relevant information are available on the Institute Website
Essential Qualification: Graduate in Chemistry with prior experience in air pollution sampling and analyses
Experience in handling of complex mass spectrometric equipment/ analytical instrumentation and/ or prior knowledge about volatile organic compounds in the atmosphere and aerosol chemistry would be of advantage as it is only a 3 month position to complete field experiments.
The project will involve intensive field work in New Delhi and NCR region and Punjab. The candidates should be willing to undertake field work including source sampling near point sources. The work is physically demanding and candidate must be physically fit. Thus, it is critical that the candidate is highly motivated and passionate about field-based research
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Emoluments: Rs 18000 per month fixed
