The Institute was established in the year 1989 as Food Craft Institute and was started functioning from August 1989. It has been up-graded as Institute of Hotel Management since July 2009. The institute is located adjacent to famous Badkhal Lake Tourist Resort, and is easily accessible by rail and road.

NHTET/Ph.D qualified eligible candidates are invited to attend walking selection process for Teaching Associate ( 4 No ) for academic session 2022-23 (On Fixed Remuneration of Rs. 25000/-per month) on 23.08.2022 (Tuesday ) at 10:00 A.M. at IHM, Faridabad. The details of eligibility criteria in terms of upper age limit, essential qualification and experience along with other details are available on websites i.e. www.ihmfaridabad.com The application form can be downloaded from the website of Institute.
Applications on prescribed form are invited for Teaching Associate ( 4 No) for the 2022-2023 academic session on contract basis on Fixed Remuneration of Rs. 25000/- P.M consolidated

- Teaching Associate
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Full time Master’s degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management/ Culinary Art securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate from a Recognized University / Institute after a full time degree (of minimum of 3 years duration) in Hospitality / Hotel Administration / Hotel Management / Culinary Art, securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate from a Recognized University / Institute and should have qualified NHTET with prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT.
OR
Full time Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma of minimum 3-years duration for which minimum pre-requisite qualification is 12th as framed by regulator/ university in Hospitality / Hotel Administration / Hotel Management/ Culinary Art from a recognized University/ Institute securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate and at least 2 years of hospitality industry experience and also should have qualified NHTET with prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT.
Note: The period of service rendered as a teacher at UG level of Hospitality subject on contact basis shall be reckoned as valid experience for above purpose.
Those having Ph.D degree in hospitality related subject from a recognized University / Institute after above prescribed qualification, need not to qualify NHTET
