It was affiliated to the University of Madras for 60 years after its inception, and was made a Constituent College of Osmania University on 19th February 1947.Nizam College offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce and Sciences in addition to professional courses such as MBA, MCA, M.Sc.(IS) and BCA. Several of our students are also pursuing doctoral and postdoctoral research. The college received the status of the College with Potential for Excellence both under the X Plan and the XI Plan period. 🎯 TITLE OF THE PROJECT
- Climate influence on mosquito demographics, Dengue and Chikungunya in the metropolitan cities located in different climatic regions of India: a multi-centric study
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Project Technical Support-II
(i) Essential : Graduate in Life Science/ Biological Sciences with specialization (major) in Zoology/ Microbiology /Virology and Three Years work experience .
OR
Masters in Life Sciences / Biological Sciences
(ii) Desirable: M.Sc in Life Sciences / Biological Sciences with field work experience
Project Technician II
Essential :SSC or equivalent with five years field work experience in entomology /wild life survey from a Government institution /recognized institution OR
Certified One year training in relevant area from any recognized institute. Candidates with HSC in science subjects (including Biology) and B.Sc in biological sciences shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years work experience respectively.
Desirable: B.Sc in biological sciences with Zoology as one of the subjects and field work experience.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Project Technical Support-II Salary: INR 31,000/ per month.( Consolidated)
- Project Technician II Salary: INR 17,000/- per month(Consolidated).
