National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal is located in Mangalore City, Karnataka State, India. The Institute was established as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC) in 1960, and upgraded as National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in 2002. Mangalore is the headquarters of the coastal district of Dakshina Kannada, and boasts an important centre of education, business and trade in the state. Sri. U. Srinivasa Mallya, a visionary and a philanthropist, contributed immensely to the development of the coastal region of Karnataka, and his effort towards establishment of KREC (now NITK) is the most significant one. In recognition of his role as the founder and architect of the institute, the campus premises is named after him as Srinivasnagar.

🎯 TITLE OF THE PROJECT
Title project: Experimental investigation of Green Hydrogen production from Rice Stubble using modified Red-mud catalyst in a pilot scale Fluidized Bed Gasifier
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualifications for PA-1 Post:
M.Tech/ME in Thermal Engineering /Energy Engineering/Renewable Energy/ Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Proof of M.Tech./ M.E certificate has to be provided during the time of interview
Essential Qualifications for PA-2 Post:
Master degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10)
Knowledge about Analytical techniques using GC, GC-MS, GCxGC-TOF-MS, PTR TOF-MS, TGA, FT-IR, NMR, ICP-AES etc
The candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly.
Should have basic knowledge about laboratory/bench scale work with a technical focus on the basic fundamentals to understand and optimize the process
Should possess excellent analytical and writing skills

1 Project Associate -1 (M.Tech) 31,000/-
2 Project Associate-2 (M.Sc) 18,000/-
