The Institute recently has been converted from State Engineering College to National Institute of Technology. The total seats have been increased from 250 to 420 for the academic session 2007-2008. Recently three Under Graduate courses has been introduced in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Production Engineering. The Civil Engineering Department will start a PG programme in Structural Engineering to fulfill the requirement of the State. The campus which was nonresidential is to be made residential with reopening of two boys hostels and one girls hostel for the students admitted for the session 2007-2008.

National Institute of Technology Agartala intends to hold a Walk-in-Interview for the engagement of Temporary/Visiting Faculty in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 27th July 2022 at 9:00 AM in the department. Interested eligible candidates may attend the interview as per above mentioned schedule with all their original certificates / mark sheets with an attested photo copy of each of it and a recent passport size photograph along with the updated Bio-data. No TA/DA would be provided for attending interview. The candidates not fulfilling eligibility criteria wouldn’t be considered for selection process. Educational qualifications and other details will be available in the institute website (www.nita.ac.in)

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Applicants are requested to go through the details of posts, educational qualifications, experience, other criteria and instructions for selection to faculty positions, which are available on the Institute website (http://www.nita.ac.in/).
Ph.D.(awarded/submitted)* * in Computer Science and Engineering or other relevant specialization from a reputed Institute/University with first class in all preceding degrees. The preceding degree before PhD must be BE/B.Tech. or ME/M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (or similar) with a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA
- If suitable candidates with Ph.D. are not found, then candidates with ME/M.Tech. may also be considered under exceptional circumstances.
