National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Haryana is a premier Technical Institute of the region. The institute started working as Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra in 1963. Like other Regional Engineering Colleges of India this institution too, had been a joint enterprise of the State and Central Governments. This Institute was conferred upon status of Deemed University on June 26, 2002. Since then it has been renamed as National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.The Institute changed over to the 4-year B.Tech. Degree courses with effect from the academic year 1985-86. The new courses was designated as B. Tech. The annual intake in B.Tech programme at present is 540.In addition to providing instructions in various disciplines of Engineering and Technology at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, the Institute offers excellent facilities for advanced research in the emerging areas of Science and Technology. The syllabus and the curricula are constantly being updated to meet the growing demands and need of the country in different areas of technology. The infrastructure is geared to enable the Institute to turn out technical personnel of a high quality.

The Department of Computer Engineering requires 28 Guest faculty members to meet out the teaching load requirement for UG/PG classes during the upcoming semester on per lecture basis @ Rs 1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum amount of Rs 50,000/- per month. Two tutorials/practicals/lab courses/seminars will be treated equivalent to one lecture
The Department of Computer Applications requires 03 Guest faculty members to meet out the teaching load requirement for PG classes during the upcoming semester on per lecture basis @ Rs 1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum amount of Rs 50,000/- per month.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Department of Computer Engineering
The qualification for Guest faculty shall be the same as that for Regular Assistant Professor i.e. “First class both at UG and PG level with PhD in relevant branch”. Candidate must have PhD completed on the last date of application, failing which he/she will not be eligible.
Note: The selected candidates will have to complete all related evaluation & examination works alongwith the engagement of classes and no separate honorarium will be paid for these.
Department of Computer Applications
The qualification for Guest faculty shall be the same as those for the regular Assistant Professor, i.e PhD. with 1st class at the master level.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The remuneration will be paid @ Rs. 1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum amount of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
