The IISERs were established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, to bridge this dichotomy. IISER TVM was founded in 2008. The institute aims to provide high quality education in modern science, integrating it with outstanding research at the undergraduate level itself, and to develop a spirit of enquiry cutting across disciplines. IISER TVM is an autonomous institution offering a five-year BS-MS programme in addition to iPh.D and Ph.D. programmes in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and inter-disciplinary areas.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) invites application from eligible Indian nationals for the post of Physical Education Instructor purely on short term contract basis.

- Physical Education Instructor
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.E or B.P.Ed) from a recognized University or institution.
Desirable Qualification:
Post-Graduation in Physical Education having specialization in any of the following events: –
Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Squash, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball etc.
Diploma in Coaching from any of the centres of Sports Authority of India.
Three years of work experience from recognized Educational Institution (College or University).
University/Institution level participation in any of the above mentioned sports discipline.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Pay: Rs.40,000/- to Rs.45,000/- (consolidated) per month depending upon qualification and experience.
