Malnad College of Engineering established in the year 1960, during the second 5 year plan, as a joint venture of Government of India, Government of Karnataka and the Malnad Technical Education Society, Hassan. The Malnad College of Engineering is now a reputed Engineering college in the country. The college has earned “ISTE Award” as one of the Best Engineering Colleges in the Country, in the year 2007. The Institute located in the midway, (13°N and 76.5°E, altitude 943 mtrs.) between Bengaluru (180 kms) and Mangaluru (170 kms) on NH-75. Hassan a district head quarters, having a steady temperate climate throughout the year, enjoys an annual rainfall of about 900 mm. World famous temples of Belur, Halebidu, Shravanabelagola, and The Master Control Facility for INSAT Satellites are located in Hassan District. The College is built on a 41.28 acres campus and has all the facilities expected in a modern Engineering College.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Assistant Professor
M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class, Candidates with Ph.D. are preferred.
Assistant Professor (Chemistry & Maths)
M.Sc. in relevant branch with First Class. Candidates with SLET or NET or Ph.D. in relevant field are preferred.
Associate Professor
a. Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
b. At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals.
c. Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
Instructor
1) Must be holder of a first class B.E/Diploma with Supervisor license in respective branch of Engineering / Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the Government.
2) Must have an experience of not less than three years in the field from an institution recognized by the State Government.
Mechanic
Must be holder of a first class Diploma in respective branch of Engineering
NOTE:- Candidates who are already in service should forward their application through proper channel. Right of filling up the vacancy is left to the discretion of the Institution authorities.
