Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune have created a brand name “DPU” in the field of medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, optometry, biotechnology, management, Ayurved, Homeopathy and Distance Learning.Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, comprising of Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, was accorded the status of University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, vide Notification No. F.9-39/2001-U.3 dated 11th January 2003 of the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary & Higher Education, New Delhi, and (ii) Notification No.F6-9/2003 (CPP-I) dated 24/01/2003 by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune has been categorized as “Category-I Deemed to be University” by University Grants Commission (UGC) as per the provision of Categorization of the Deemed to be University under UGC [Categorization of Universities (only) for Grant of Graded Autonomy] Regulations, 2018 vide its Letter dated 20th April, 2018.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Registrar
Essential Qualifications:
· A Ph.D. degree with consistent good academic record. Or
· A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever grading system is followed.
Essential Experience:
· At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. Or
· Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education. Or
· 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent post.
Desirable:
· Familiarity with administrative practices, human resource management, statutory functions and academic activities. Experience in computer system for information processing and retrieval.
· Proficiency in English language.
Deputy Registrar
Essential Qualifications:
· A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever grading system is followed.
Essential Experience:
· At least 9 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10 with experience in educational administration. Or
· Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education. Or
· 5 years of administrative experience, as Assistant Registrar or equivalent post.
Desirable:
· Familiarity with administrative practices, statutory functions, and experience in academics / examinations section of any university / college, will be preferred.
· Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
· Knowledge of OS windows. Microsoft office, internet, e-mail operations, etc.
· Independent handling of various types of responsibilities in higher educational institutions.
