Air Force School, Halwara came into inception as Sharda Elementary School in 1957. The School was recognized up to middle standard vide ISO Certified 9001-2008. It was renamed AF School, Halwara in 1986. The main aim of AIR FORCE SCHOOL is to impart quality education based on Public School ideology to the children of AF personnel at reasonable cost and special emphasis is laid on Indian culture, values, defence orientation, and our ancient heritage to ensure the overall development of a child’s personality so that he/she becomes a responsible citizen of the country.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Trained Graduate Teachers
Mandatory:*
(i) A Masters or a Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognised by the Govt of India/UGC/AICTE with a minimum marks of 50 percent in the subject and 50 percent in the aggregate, including electives and languages, in the combination of subjects as under
(aa) Any two out of History, Geography, Economics or Political Science, of which one must be either History or Geography.
(ii) B. Ed. or its equivalent degree from a college/ university recognised by Govt of India /UGC/AICTE/NCTE.
(iii) Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul 2022.
(iv) Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation up to a maximum of five years.
(v) Ex-servicemen candidates who have put in not less than six months of continuous service in the Army, Navy or the Air Force shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed 53 years as on 01 Jul 22, deemed to have satisfied the condition regarding age limit.
(vi) Candidates with at least two years continuous service as a PGT/TGT or three years as a PRT/NTT in any AF School but presently not working in an Air Force School will be given age relaxation up to the extent of such service rendered in Air Force School.
(vii) Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
Desirable
(i) Knowledge of Computer applications like MS Office, ability to read write and communicate in Hindi.
(ii) CTET / STET qualified.

Primary Teacher (PRT)
Regular Mandatory (i) A Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognised by the Govt of India / UGC/AICTE, with a minimum marks of 50 percent in the aggregate (ii) All eligibility criteria specified from Sub-Para 1 (a) (ii) to 1(a) (vii) above are applicable. Desirable (i) All desirable criteria mentioned in Sub-Para 1 (a) are applicable Pay Scale (in Rs.) PM 21,500-650-28,000-EB-850-36,500 plus DA (as applicable).

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

• Trained Graduate Teachers Pay Scale (in Rs.) PM : 25,000-700-32,000-EB-950-41,500 plus DA (as applicable).
• Pay Scale (in Rs.) PM 21,500-650-28,000-EB-850-36,500 plus DA (as applicable).
