🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION
INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BHOPAL (IIIT-Bhopal), is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (PPP) in the country, set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research and training in various fields of Information Technology. To address the challenges faced by the Indian IT industry and growth of the domestic IT market, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India intends to establish twenty Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT), on a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) basis. The partners in setting up the IIITs would be the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Governments of the respective States where each IIIT will be established, and the industry. On the same line INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BHOPAL (IIIT-Bhopal) is newly established Educational Institute by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India and few industry partners as Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) Institution. The capital cost of IIIT Bhopal is identified as Rs. 128 crores to be contributed in the ratio of 50:35:15 by the Government of India, Government of Madhya Pradesh and third partners respectively. Approximately 50 acres Land has been identified at Bhopal for setting up the IIIT. At present, IIIT-Bhopal is operating from its temporary premises at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, till the time its new campus is made operational at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Governing Council consisting of distinguished people from academia, industry and government preside over the governance of the Institute.

Essential Qualifications Ph.D.
Additional Desirable Requirement One publication in an SCI journal.
Associate Professor Level-13A2 (Pre-revised pay in PB- 4,AGP Rs. 9500)
Essential Qualifications Ph.D.
Relevant Experience 06 years after Ph.D. or 09 years total (not counting Ph.D. enrolment period) out of which 03 years should be after Ph.D. Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of 8000/- or equivalent in a reputed university, R & D Lab. or relevant industry.
Other essential requirement 04 papers in SCI journals after Ph.D.; One Ph.D. guided as sole or principal supervisor plus one continuing. Two projects ongoing or one ongoing plus one completed. Two experiments or computational projects added to teaching in laboratories where appropriate. Academic outreach activity equivalent to two self financed short term courses
Additional Desirable Requirement 01 or more patents; Supervising two or more students for Ph.D.; Strong liaison with industry; Offering courses through application of ICT
Assistant Registrar Group A, Level-10
A Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent with Academic record. Desirable: i) Professional qualification in the area of Management/Finance & Accounts ii) Experience in handling Administrative /Legal/Finance / Stores & Purchase/ Establishments matters
