Employees State Insurance Corporation medical college, commonly known as ESIC Medical College, is a well-established college in Gulbarga, Karnataka. The college is also known as ESIC Dental College, Kalaburagi, Karnataka. It was started in the year 1990.
The ESIC Medical College & PGIMSR, KK Nagar is built on the backdrop of the prestigious ESI Corporation Hospital, KK Nagar, which has been serving the Insured Patients in Tamil Nadu for more than 3 decades. The college is in operation since 2013. The college has an annual intake of 100 students, with 15% reserved for All India Quota, 20% for wards of Insured Patients and remaining 65% filled through the State Government Quota. The college is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University. The post graduate courses are being offered in the college since 2009 in the specialties of General Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Anaesthesia and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Currently there is intake of 12 postgraduate students in the specialties of Anaesthesiology, General Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The ESIC Medical College & PGIMSR received full approval of the Medical Council of India this year.

ESIC Medical College & Hospital, K.K. Nagar, Chennai proposes to fill up the medical teaching faculty – Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor in the disciplines mentioned below on contract basis through walk-in interview. The details of vacancies and reservation position is as under
Walk-in interview is scheduled to be held for the engagement of Teaching Faculty for the posts of Professor [04 post], Associate Professor [03 posts], Assistant Professor [09 posts] on contract basis at ESIC Medical College & PGIMSR and Hospital, K.K. Nagar, Chennai on 28.04.2022 and 29.04.2022 from 09.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Eligible candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may appear for document verification/interview with their application in the prescribed format along with all supporting documents in original and self-attested photocopy with two recent Passport size photographs at the time of document verification/interview.
