Manipal School of Life Sciences (MSLS) is an independent institute under Manipal Academy of Higher Education, established in the year 2006 and is one of the top life sciences institutes of the country. MSLS is a constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. It is identified as TIFAC-CORE (Technology Information, Forecasting & Assessment Council – Centres of Relevance & Excellence) of the Government of India in the area of Pharmacogenomics. It actively promotes advanced research in India and abroad, supported by the Government of India agencies such as DBT, ICMR, DST, BRNS, and the number of other industry partners.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Department of Commerce
Associate Professor
Qualifications: Masters in Management/Commerce/Economics with PhD or CA with PhD.
Eligibility: PhD degree in respective field & first class Master’s degree in the relevant discipline (with minimum 2 years duration) from a reputed institution recognized by AICTE / MHRD/UGC degree.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of teaching/ equivalent industry experience.
Mandatory
Publications: Minimum 5 publications in Scopus/Web of Science/ABDC indexed journals
Grants: Proven track record of getting INR 10 lakhs grants.
Assistant Professor
Qualifications: Masters in Management/Commerce/Economics with PhD or CA with PhD.
Eligibility: PhD degree in the respective field & first class Master’s degree in the relevant discipline (with minimum 2 years duration) from a reputed institution recognized by AICTE / MHRD/UGC.
Mandatory
Publications: Minimum 3 publications in Scopus/Web of Science/ABDC indexed journals.
Desirable
Grants: Receipt of INR 5-10 lakhs
Department of Philosophy (DoP) Associate Professor /Assistant Professor/Lecturer
Eligibility:
• Academic background in Indian philosophy and literature
• Literary and linguistic proficiency in Sanskrit
• Ability to render and teach Indian philosophy and philology in English
• Multidisciplinary research orientation in Liberal Arts and readiness for conference participation and publications
• Sound knowledge of computational applications and Indic scripts
• Eagerness to foster team spirit and work in multicultural environment
• Willingness to take up institutional responsibilities and administrative tasks
• Preferably with Digital Humanities and Sanskrit Computational Linguistics background
Qualification:
• Young scholars with PhD from reputed institutions
• Majored/specifically qualified in aforementioned areas
• Preferably with experience in research and publications
• Advanced proficiency in English
Manipal School of Life Sciences (MSLS) Assistant Professors
• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Biochemistry with proven experience to undertake research in the area of human health and track record of seeking extra-mural funding.
• Ph.D. in Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Neurobiology, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Systems Biology, Biosensors and Stem Cells. Experience in basic immunology of translational significance, emerging infectious diseases, construction and use of microfluidics for various applications, 3D-tissue/organoid reconstruction, biosensors, molecular neurobiology, omics studies and also to undertake research in higher eukaryotes of translational significance.
• Previous track record of high worth publications, extramural funding, teaching and vision to align and grow with the Institute. Industry experience is an added qualification.
