NITIE Mumbai invites applications from distinguished professionals with non-academic/ industrial background for faculty positions at the levels of Professor of Practice (PoP) Level I and Level II in its various academic areas, including Centres. Highly experienced and accomplished management professionals may be appointed as professors of practice (PoP) based on specified criteria and institute selection process

• Logistics and Supply Chain, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Business Strategy, and Human Resources

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required for Position of Professor of Practice
(PoP):

1. A master’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification) with at least 60% marks from a reputed institution with not less than 15 years of managerial or professional experience.
2. Candidates should have worked in senior management positions for at least for 5 years.
3. Preferred academic qualification is an MBA or equivalent from a premier national or international institution. A doctoral or equivalent degree is desirable, but not mandatory.
4. They should have a track record of exemplary professional practice while serving in leadership positions and have a well-established, evidence-based reputation for superior accomplishments in their fields.
5. Candidates with non-business degrees such as Master’s in Psychology, Master’s in Social Work, Chartered Accountant, etc. would also be considered.
6. Candidate must be an Indian citizen and preferably 60 years or less on the date of application

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

i.Professor of Practice Level I: Rs. 1.75L to Rs.2.10L per month
ii.Professor of Practice Level II: Rs.1.10L to Rs.1.70L per month
