Government College Daman is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Daman, which was established in 1966, with a vision to impart quality education to the residents of U.T of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu and the adjoining states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The College is a co-educational institution administered by the U.T Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu and is affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. The College has UGC recognition under section 2f and 12B and offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses in Arts, Science and Commerce. A team of diligent teachers with undying enthusiasm are incessantly engaged in facilitating the curricular and co-curricular activities of the college which has led to its emerging as the citadel of intellectual pursuit in the city.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Educational Qualifications: As per UGC Regulations (With NET/SET/SLET or Ph. D.) 2016 with minimum 55% marks at Master’s level. Candidates, who arc, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of advertisement.
The selected candidates shall not have any right to claim for regularization and/or permanent post in future. They shall have to enter into an agreement/contract with the authority for the period of engagement.
No TA and DA shall be paid for appearing in the said interview.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Remuneration will be Rs. 50,000/- per month consolidated for the eligible candidates selected for Short Term Contract basis as per UGC Guidelines.
