Named after one of the donors and Vice Presidents of the Vignana Jyothi Society, VNRVJIET secured its affiliation to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTUH), Hyderabad and was established with the permission of The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Institute was accorded Autonomous status for Ten years by University Grants Commission (UGC) from the year 2018-19 to 2027-28. The institute is NAAC accredited with “A++” Grade under autonomous status.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
The Qualifications & Experience as per AICTE/UGC norms
Professor
Engineering : B.E.,B.Tech & M.E., M.Tech & . Ph.D, in relevant branch with Minimum of 60% in both UG & PG. Post PhD publications and guiding PhD students is highly desirable API score sheet is Mandatory Minimum of 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. (OR) Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and/or Research and/or Industry. In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research paper publications/IPR / patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection committee. If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising/designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/research paper publications/IPR/patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection committee.
Associate Professor
Engineering : B.E.,B.Tech & M.E., M.Tech & . Ph.D, in relevant branch with Minimum of 60% in both UG & PG Post PhD publications and guiding PhD student is highly desirable. API score sheet is Mandatory Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching/research/industry of which 3 years post PhD experience is desirable.
Assistant Professor
Engineering : B.E.,B.Tech & M.E., M.Tech., in relevant branch with Minimum of 60% in both UG & PG Humanities & Sciences: PG in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Management and M.Phil with Minimum of 60% in both UG & PG, NET/SET MANDATORY Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching/research. Experience in Teaching will be preferred.
