Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is first University established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting “studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education, for example engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”
Applications are invited for one JRF position in the DST-funded research project titled “Development of point of care device for identification of specific Oral Cancer” sanctioned to the undersigned. Development of point of care device for identification of specific Oral Cancer
🎓 DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualifications: Masters or Equivalent degree (fulltime) in any field of Biological Sciences from a recognized University/Institution and must have qualified GATE or CSIR/UGCNET (including Lecturership/Assistant Professorship). Should have 1st class (or equivalent grade) throughout, from 10th Std onwards up to post graduation or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in Molecular Biology.
Duration of the position: ~ 02 years based on progress review at the end of each year.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Salary: Rs. 31000/-p.m. +HRA (as per university rules)
