National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur is an Institution of National Importance, by an Act of Parliament (Act 29 of 2007) namely, the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007, which received the assent of the President of India on the 5th June, 2007. This was formerly known as Regional Institute of Technology (RIT) Jamshedpur and was established on 15th
August 1960 with the aim of nurturing young engineers for economic growth of the Nation. NIT Jamshedpur is situated in the western part of the city Jamshedpur. The flowing river Kharkai and picturesque backdrop of low hills on one side, and large tracts of forest on the other side, make the 341.30 acres of rolling campus an ideal place for higher learning and
research. NIT Jamshedpur has well qualified faculty and dedicated supporting staff.
Applications are invited for software professionals to work in software development projects at NIT Jamshedpur purely on Contract basis, initially for a period of six months, which may be extended depending upon the requirement of the Institute and assessment of performance
💼 DESIGNATION / JOB POSITION
- Software Developer
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
4 years’ Engineering Degree in CSE or IT / M.Sc. (IT) / M. Sc. (CS) / MCA with minimum 60% marks from a recognized institution and Having at least two years’ experience in Software development OR 3 years’ Diploma in CS or IT / B.Sc. (IT) / B.Sc. (CS)/ BCA / with minimum 60% marks from a recognize institution and Having at least four years’ experience in Software development.
Essential expertise: Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
Should have positive attitude to learn new skills and technologies. Should be a quick leaner and develop skills in Spring Framework, J2EE technologies, especially on JSP, JDBC, XML; Database/SQL knowledge in RDBMS PostgreSQL. Write well designed, testable, efficient JAVA code. Should have efficient communication skill, problem solving skill and analytics skill.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Rs. 40,000 to 50,000 (depending upon qualification & experience). *The final salary will be decided by the selection committee on the basis of years of experience and technical expertise judged through interview
