The Army Public School Udhampur is one of the first five 10+2 co-educational school established under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society. It was started in July 1980 with a strength of 316 students from Nursery to class IX. The school was then known as Army High School, Udhampur. During the academic session 1981-82, class X was added in the academic session 1985-86, class XI was started. In1985, the Carmel Convent School, which was run by the Bishop of Catholic Church, was taken over by the army and re-designated as Army School No-2, Udhampur. Subsequently, during 1986, for reasons of better education, administration and economy, Army School No-2 was merged and raised to the status of Army Public School Udhampur.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Age as on 01 Apr 2022 (Teaching Staff). Fresh candidates having no experience should be below the age of 40 years and experienced candidates (Min 05 years of teaching experience in the last 10 years) should below the age of 57 years (including ex-service personnel).
Education Qualifications (Teaching Staff). As per CBSE AFFILIATION BYE LAWS for all teaching staff posts. Preference will be given to candidates having valid AWES online Screening Test Score Card (CSB Score Card) & CTET/TET qualified with 60% marks.
