🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION
Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC) at Baridih, Jamshedpur, in the East Singhbhum District of Jharkhand, is a premium institution for medical education and training under a consortium initiative between Tata Steel and MAHE Manipal. MAHE Manipal has been formally recognised as an Institution of Eminence (IOE) by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Govt of india via signing of an memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during Oct 2020.Under this consortium initiative, MAHE Manipal has created necessary infrastructure for a medical college at Ardeshir Dalal Memorial Hospital (ADMH) Campus in Baridih, spread over 20 acres. A total of 150 seats will be made available for MBBS students annually and the Tata Main Hospital (TMH), Jamshedpur, is the attached teaching hospital of MTMC Jamshedpur.

MTMC is the first of its kind private-private partnership model created as a result of visionary policy change in the medical education sector by the Government of India to strengthen medical education in the country.
