🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Television genres and formats
• MA in Journalism/Mass Communication with at least 55% AND NET/SLET
• A relaxation of 5% is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates
• Superannuated teachers may also be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
• Specialisation: Television Production
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience: At least five years of experience in the television industry involving production and production supervision. Demonstrable knowledge of different video genres and formats and AV storytelling approaches and high competence
in all aspects of video production
History of Media
• MA in Journalism/Mass Communication with at least 55% AND NET/SLET
• A relaxation of 5% is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates
• Superannuated teachers may also be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Ph.D in Mass Communication & Journalism
• Teaching experience at the post-graduate level and a demonstrable familiarity
with a range of communication and media theories.
Film theory and Criticism
• MA in Journalism/Mass Communication with at least 55% AND NET/SLET

• Specialisation: Film Studies/ Visual Culture
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Ph.D in Mass Communication & Journalism
• Teaching experience at the post-graduate level and a demonstrable familiarity with a range of communication and media theories.
• Proven research in the area of film studies or visual culture, and teaching experience at the Postgraduate level and a demonstrable familiarity with a range of communication and media theories.
Terms and Conditions:
• The appointment will be purely temporary & will be for a maximum period of one semester
• The honorarium will be Rs.1,500/ lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/ month
• Selected candidates will not be entitled to any other benefits
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
• No TA /DA will be paid during the semester
• Selected candidates will be required to administer the course completely and hand over requisite documents including attendance, grades etc to the Head as advised from time to time. Mentoring the students throughout the semester is a
requirement.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
• The honorarium will be Rs.1,500/ lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/ month
