🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

PES University’s Centers of Excellence provide a collaborative environment for faculty, students and experts from the corporate and public sector to work together and create cutting-edge results in specific fields.
The following positions are open at each COE
DIRECTOR
Master’s degree. PhD preferred. 20 years+ relevant technical and managerial experience in one or more of these technology areas: Cyber-security, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data.
FULL-TIME FACULTY ROLE
Master’s degree. PhD preferred. 2 years+ relevant experience in contemporary practices, frameworks and relevant tools. Talented freshers will also be considered.
PART-TIME (ADJUNCT) FACULTY ROLE Relevant industry experience and appropriate certifications. Prior academic experience is a plus.
RESEARCH ROLE (NON-TEACHING)
Will work under the Director and identify, design, implement and promote research and thought leadership. Must demonstrate aptitude for working with and guiding students. Talented freshers will also be considered.

UGC REGULATIONS ON MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS AND OTHER ACADEMIC STAFF IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES AND MEASURES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS IN HIGHER EDUCATION, 2018

• Director: Should have a master’s degree in relevant areas. PhD is preferred but not mandatory.
• Faculty: Should have a master’s degree in relevant areas. PhD is preferred but not mandatory.
• Adjunct: Should have a relevant degree and is subject matter expert in the domain.
• Research: Should have a relevant degree – BTech, MTech or PhD.

• Director: Over 20 years plus relevant technical and managerial experience in one or more areas of IT, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing and Big Data.
• Faculty: 2 years plus relevant experience in contemporary practices, frameworks, and relevant tools. Talented freshers will also be considered.
• Adjunct: Relevant Industry experience and appropriate certifications; prior academic experience is a plus.
• Research: Must be very hands on with varied tools and frameworks used. Must be good in scripting and programming. Must demonstrate practical problem-solving skills. Be willing to share, guide and work with students. Talented freshers will also be considered.
