🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION

The Centre for Women’s Studies. University of Hyderabad invites applications from eligible candidates for appointment of Guest Faculty during the Winter Semester 2022 (i.e.. February-June 2022) to teach courses for M.A-II and M.A- IV Semesters. The appointment is purely on temporary basis for one semester.
The School of Mathematics and Statistics is inviting applications for the Guest Faculty positions (04) under the following category, purely on temporary basis, in the area of Statistics.
The School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad invites applications for appointment of (05) Nos. of Guest Faculty in School of Management Studies to teach the students of MBA General, MBA(HC&HM)& MBA Business Analytics, II & IV regular Semester students i.e. January-June 2022 on subject to compliance with the guidelines issued by UGC from time to time& from the date of commencement of class. The selected guest faculty are expected to participate in other academic activities like seminars etc., and provide guidance to students and extend any other type of help as may be needed by the students and as assigned by the Dean of the School. Further they are also expected to undertake teaching and student mentoring and not leave in the middle of the semester.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Centre for Women’s Studies Essential: MA in Gender Studies/Women’s Studies or allied/relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent degree/grade and NET (or Ph.D. Degree as per UGC regulations, 2009) as well as a good academic record and proficiency in English. Proven research and/or teaching experience in Gender Studies with expertise to teach the courses mentioned in the left column.
School of Mathematics and Statistics A good Academic record with M.Sc. in Statistics with 55% + NET/SLET
Under the term “Good Academic Record”, the candidate must have obtained an average of 50% marks and above in Graduation.
A relaxation of 5% is provided at the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree level for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing the good academic record.
Possessing a Ph.D. degree in Statistics is desirable.
Applicants who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis in Statistics and are awaiting the completion of the Viva-voce examination may however be considered.
The superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
School of Management Studies The applicants for, MBA (HC&HM)& MBA Business Analytics must possess teaching/practical experience of more than 10 years in the field preferably with a Ph.D. Degree. However in case of Doctors /Professionals the relevant experience in working in Health Care / Hospital Sector will be treated as equivalent to Ph.D. Degree.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for a virtual interview.
School of Mathematics and Statistics The appointment is purely temporary in nature and will be for a maximum period of one semester during February – June, 2022. The term of appointment may be extended depending upon the requirement.
The Honorarium for Guest Faculty shall be paid @ Rs. 1,500/-per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- per month.
Interested candidates can send their CV (as per the format enclosed) along with the copies of the certificates in support of academic qualifications, research publications, work experience and with a valid caste certificate (for SC, ST and OBC categories), in support of their candidature to deansm@uohyd.ac.in on or before 24th January, 2022. The selected candidates for the above posts shall not be entitled to claim any weightage for regular appointment.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
