🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Pro Vice Chancellor
Applications are invited from Senior Academician at the level of Professor, educational administrators like Dean / Director for the position of Pro Vice Chancellor – a tenure based contractual position at NMIMS. The person should, besides having good academics credentials in any discipline, also have administrative experience of managing an institute under the University for a minimum of 10 years.
The incumbent will need to have the qualifications and experience as prescribed for Professor’s position by UGC.
Preferred age 50-55.

Candidates should have Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC or equivalent seven/ ten point scale.
At least 10 years of experience as Associate Professor/Professor in the AL 13A/14 and above in a premier institution or equivalent along with experience in educational administration.
Comparable experience of 15 years in Research Establishments and/or other Institutions of Higher Education or in the Government sector
At least 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or in an equivalent position in a premier/national institution
1. Ph.D. Degree
2. Experience of handling administration/management of a reputed University /Institution and functioning of statutory bodies
3. Legal Knowledge.
4. Operational knowledge/ Expertise in ICT tools
5. Proficiency in English language (both written & spoken)

Director NMIMS Campus Office, Dhule, India
The Director would be an Academician & a team leader. We are looking for a visionary for our Dhule campus who will be reporting to the Vice Chancellor/Pro Vice Chancellor. Director heads the Campus and hence is responsible for all the programs delivered at the campus besides managing compliances.
He/She should be ready to move along with the University goals to establish & strengthen his plan and implement to its core. He/she should have strong academic and administrative skills. Understand the emerging trend and opportunities, creative and innovative bent of mind. Should be technology savvy, an institution builder, motivator, should be able to handle the faculty and academic administration of the school. He/She will look after the student affairs & placement activities.
The individual should have a Post-Graduation & Ph.D. from one of the premier Management Institution/University at National/International level with atleast 15 years of Academic and Administrative experience in the field. Should have strong linkages & network with the industry & academics. Should be well acquainted with the various Accreditation Agencies and Statutory bodies as well as the procedures.
The Dean for School of Business Management would be an Academician & a thought leader. He will be leading one of the Top 10 Management B-School in India. He should be a change master and a team leader. He should be ready to move along with the strengths and weakness of the school. He should have strong academic and administrative skills. Understand the emerging trend and opportunities, creative and innovative bent of mind. Should be technology savvy, an institutional builder, motivator, enhance productivity of faculty & be willing to act as a buffer between the Management & faculty. Being the Dean he will be responsible & planner for Schools academic & Financial performance. Also he should be accessible to students.
The incumbent should have a Ph.D from a reputed University/Institute with min. 15 years of Academic and Administrative experience in the field and high quality research and publications. Should have strong linkages & network with the industry & academics. Should be well acquainted with the various Accreditation Agencies and Statutory bodies and the procedures. Shall be overall responsible for the academic growth of various core and sectoral programmes, quality improvement, periodical reviews, placement and industry collaboration. He/she is required to provide guidance in planning, coordination and implementation of academic programmes as per the UGC rules and regulations and other statutory bodies from time to time.
The incumbent should be an acknowledged leader in legal education, good team builder, team player and team leader. He should have a perspective & a vision for taking forward the new school set up one year back. He should have strong academic and administrative skills. He should be a good communicator and should have a command in his field of expertise. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience of setting up Law School at national level. He should have good network at National & International level. He/She shall be completely responsible for running the programmes, which includes formulating strategies, curriculum design & development, monitoring teaching-learning processes, academic coordination, placements support and Industry Institute collaboration.
The incumbent should have a Ph.D from a reputed University/Institute with 15 years of Academic and Administrative experience in the field. Should have strong linkages & network with the industry & academics. Should be well acquainted with the various Accreditation Agencies and Statutory bodies and the procedures.
Dean – School of Performing Arts
Ph.D. in any field in Performing Arts/Preferably Music Performance/Education or other relevant field with evidence of published work and research guidance. Served as a Professor/ Associate Professor at a university or college of music for minimum 15 years. Candidates from Western music preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Establishing and administering the education policies approved by NMIMS
· Devising and monitoring the class curriculum of the courses
· Planning and directing school activities related to student services including admissions, growth, progress and placement
· Devising the school calendar and plan events for the year
· Sourcing faculties overseas and locally
· Liaising and building relations with organisations and universities overseas and locally
· Liaising with International and Local artists as brand ambassadors for the college
· Structuring new programmes, master classes and workshops and implementing them
· Serving as the point of contact for student information
· Serving as a liaison between school administrators and student organizations, such as a student council
· Handle discipline-related processes and procedures
· Minimum 25 hours of class load including private lessons
· Any other responsibility which is in the expertise of the individual as and when required.
