🎯 EVENT OVERVIEW

Smart grids are focus the most momentous evolutionary alterations in energy management systems since they support integrated systems, embracing renewable energy systems, the usage of large-scale renewable energy sources (RESs) and notable developments in demand-side management. When, large scale integration of RES with the upcoming smart grid, there are copious open challenges including the development & implementation, system security, system architectures, communication systems framework, standardization and protocols/guidelines, smart device interface, advanced forecasting, smart device interface, data transmission and monitoring, smart metering infrastructure, operational and economical constraints etc. Consequently, seeing the future need and a reliable and secure modern power system, this online FDP intends to plan to give a deep insight on the aboveboard issue and challenges and for large scale integration into future smart grid design. Therefore, the proposed virtual FDP intends to facilitate upgradation of knowledge, skills and other relevant issues to keep pace with the changing scenario in reference to modern smart grid with integration of RESs. The FDP provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge about current technological developments in relevant fields. It will not only promote the professional practices relevant to technical education but also motivates the faculty/researchers to achieve teaching and learning, simultaneously.

COURSE CONTENTS
• Recent Trends in Power Sector & Smart Grid
• Energy Saving Through Green Building Concepts
• Challenges in Integration of Renewable Energy Sources to Smart Grid
• Mitigation Approaches for Smart Grid with High Penetration of Renewables
• Cyber Security in Smart Grid
• Smart grid: technologies options, Infrastructure, methods, and Impacts
• Electric vehicles to smart grid and RESs interaction
