🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION
The Saurashtra University was created on a rigorous demand, for a separate university out of Gujarat University (Ahmedabad), from the eminent educationists and freedom fighters of the Saurashtra region. The demand was more prominent after the creation of Gujarat state on May 1, 1961. The Saurashtra University Act was passed by the Legislative Assembly of Gujarat in the year 1965(Gujarat Act No. 39 of 1965). Saurashtra University, established on 23rd May, 1967, having two headquarters in the initial stage i.e. Rajkot and Bhavnagar.
Applications are invited for the appointment of one JRF for the period of three years under the IUAC, New Delhi research project of Dr. P.S. Solanki.

🎯 TITLE OF THE PROJECT
Role of Swift Heavy Ion Irradiation in Device Characteristics of Manganite Based Thin Films
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
At least second class (55% marks) in M.Sc. Physics. M.Phil. and/or research experience will be preferred
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Rs. 16000/– per month (consolidated) for two years and then after for third / final year will be Rs. 18000/– per month (consolidated) for candidates with NET/GATE
Rs. 14000/– per month (consolidated) for two years and then after for third / final year will be Rs. 16000/–
per month (consolidated) for candidates without NET/GATE qualification
HRA and any other allowance like medical, etc. will not be paid to the project fellow/ assistant or JRF by IUAC.
