ABOUT INSTITUTION
The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (Government of India) has set up The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) through an Act of Parliament (“Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Act – 2007″). RGIPT has been accorded the eminence of being an “Institute of National Importance” along the lines of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). RGIPT is co-promoted as an energy domain specific institute by six leading Oil PSUs in association with the Oil Industry Development Board (OIDB). RGIPT’s main academic campus with residential facilities is set up at Jais, Amethi, U.P. Besides the main campus, RGIPT having the two other centers- Energy Centre, Sivasagar, Assam and Energy Institute, Bangalore.
Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant at a fixed stipend of Rs. 20000/- P.M.(Twenty thousand per month) for council of science and technology, UP, sponsored project entitled “ Flue Gas Decarbonization Using Novel Green Solvents” sanctioned up to Three Years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with project. The candidate should possess minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on a 10 point scale and minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on a 10 point scale in M.Tech

B.Tech Chemical Engineering/Materials Science/Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on a 10 point scale
AND
M. Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Materials Science/ Mechanical Engineering or allied branch with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on a 10 point scale
The candidate must have been born in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Age: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st April, 2021.
Experience: Candidates with prior experience in the synthesis of ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, CO2 capture etc. would be given preference
