The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) was established in August 2020 by the Government of NCT of Delhi to equip students with world-class skill education to enable access to aspirational jobs and inculcate entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurship. DSEU aims to create a win-win for the youth and the industry by filling the existing gaps in skill training. Building on the education philosophy of thinkers such as Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave, DSEU aims to integrate the use of the hand, head, and heart for balanced living and engagement in lifelong learning. The focus will be on teaching both self-reliance for life-long independence and the wisdom towards nurturing and valuing interdependence. The University wishes to change the existing paradigm of skilling, making skill acquisition aspirational and providing opportunities to all for skilling, up-skilling and reskilling. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at the equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
Desirable
● MCom/MBA from a specialized banking or insurance industry preferred.

Associate Professor – Facilities & Hygiene Management A PhD. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. 2. A Masterβ€˜s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed). 3. ● Master’s degree preferably in Hotel Management.

Associate Professor – Medical Lab Technology A PhD. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. 2. A Masterβ€˜s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed). 3. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.
Desirable
● Expertise in clinical microbiology.
● Previous experience in a laboratory or medical setting.
● Comfortable using medical technologies and lab equipment and knowledge of the latest advancements in the field.

Associate Professor – Retail Management A PhD. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. 2. A Masterβ€˜s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed). 3. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.

● Expertise in the area of retail management.
● Knowledge of Visual Merchandising, Category Management, E-tailing, Logistic & Supply Chain Management.
● MBA with Specialization in Retail Management/Marketing Management.

Associate Professor – Soft Skills and Face the World Skills A PhD. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. 2. A Masterβ€˜s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed). 3. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2. Desirable
● BA & MA with experience of teaching/training in English, people skills, and professional/business English communication MBA with OB/HR specialization.

Associate Professor – Foreign Language Spanish A PhD. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. 2. A Masterβ€˜s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed). 3. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.
Desirable
● Candidates should be passionate educators in Spanish language and culture, who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21st century learners.
● Native speakers preferred else, must be fluent in spoken Spanish and should be able to smoothly communicate with a native Spanish speaker.
● College-level teaching experience, a high level of computer literacy and experience in designing digital teaching-learning experience.
● Candidates with an additional experience in facilitating internships and placements would be preferred.

Assistant Professor
Eligibility (A or B): A. A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Provided, the candidates registered for the PhD programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then-existing Ordinances/Bye-laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such PhD candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions:-
a. The PhD degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;
b. The PhD thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;
c. An open PhD viva voce of the candidate has been conducted; d. The Candidate has published two research e. papers from his/her PhD work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal. f. The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her PhD work in conferences/seminars sponsored/ funded/ supported by the UGC / ICSSR/ CSIR or any similar agency. The fulfilment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned. Note: NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET. OR
B. The PhD degree has been obtained from a foreign University/Institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following:
(i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai). Note: The Academic score as specified in Appendix II (Table 3A) for Universities, and Appendix II (Table 3B) for Colleges, shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance in the interview.
General Note 1: The guidelines/Instructions/orders regarding Qualifications, Pay Scales, Service Conditions, CAS, etc. issued by AICTE/GNCTD and UGC as the case may be, and notified from time to time shall be applicable.
General Note 2: Candidates who have done PhD after the Bachelor’s Degree from the institution of National importance with GATE/ GPAT/ CEED shall be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
General Note 3: As per AICTE notification dated 1st March 2019, Clause 5.1(j) Qualifications for Faculties in Science and Humanities: The qualifications for recruitment and promotions for faculty in the disciplines of Basic Sciences, Social Science and Humanities shall be as per the UGC Notification No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS) Dated 18th July 2018 and UGC guidelines issued from time to time

Assistant Professor – Aesthetics & Beauty Therapy Desirable ● In- depth knowledge of various beauty care services. ● Worked in a salon for 2-3 years. ● Has certification for specialised skills such as nail care, hair care, bridal make up, product preparation.

Assistant Professor – Banking & Financial Services Desirable ● Specialization in Banking & Finance/ Banking & Insurance. ● Preferred area of expertise – Capital & Securities Market or Risk Management. ● Preferred experience of teaching Business Mathematics, Statistics. ● Specialization in Marketing/ General Management. ● Specialization in Accounting & Finance. ● Wide ranging, factual and theoretical knowledge in broad contexts within a field of work or study. ● Specialized technical skill, clarity of knowledge and practice in broad range of activity involving standard / non- standard practices

Assistant Professor – Business Process Management Desirable ● Specialization in Finance and/or Accounting. ● Specialization in Mathematics, Statistics & Economics. ● Knowledge in basic Statistics, basic excel, basic economics. ● Experience in Curriculum design and new programme development. ● Teaching and/or research interest in Strategy, International Business, Human Resource Management, Innovation Etc.

Assistant Professor – Data Analytics & Data Science Desirable ● Specialization in Statistics and Stochastic processes. ● Preferred area of expertise – Statistics, Basic probability, Stochastic process. ● Passion and commitment towards student-centered teaching. ● Curriculum development and design experience. ● Experience in leading learning programs.

Assistant Professor – Hospitality Desirable ● Worked in hospitality and/or customer facing sector ● Research in hospitality/customer facing work

Assistant Professor – Land Transportation Desirable ● First Class Masters Degree in Business Management/Administration. ● 3-4 years relevant experience in industry in the field of supply chain, logistics, distribution, freight management, road/ rail logistics. ● Experience with interdisciplinary partnerships and be able to advance the Real Estate Development program. ● Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Sustainable Built Environments. ● Knowledge that bridges across real estate development and related fields include real estate markets, finance, housing and community development, place-making, land-use, transportation, social and environmental justice, and urban and environmental planning.

Assistant Professor – Medical Lab Technology Desirable ● Expertise in Clinical Biochemistry. ● Expertise in Haematology. ● Broad knowledge of basic chemistry techniques. ● Previous experience of working in a laboratory or medical setting. ● Comfortable in the use of medical technologies and lab equipment and knowledge of the latest advancements in the field.

Assistant Professor – Retail Management Desirable ● Expertise in the area of Retail Management; ● Knowledge of Visual Merchandising, Category Management, E-tailing, Logistic & Supply chain Management; ● Possess knowledge of Marketing with Specialization in Retail Management/Management ● Worked in a retail setup ● Taught courses on retail management

Assistant Professor – Soft Skills and Face the World Skills Desirable ● Attained the knowledge of software development; Working knowledge of Project Management Software-MS Projects/ Open source. ● Experience in areas of Capacity Building preferably in e-learning, L&D and Human Capital Management ● Areas of knowledge must be Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Learning Management System, Knowledge Management System. ● Worked in a BPO/KPO for a few years.
