🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to make relevant intellectual contribution to experienced and potential managers through teaching, training research and published work.
Candidates should have a strong academic background and understanding of current developments in the related field. Faculty members are expected to carry out research, design and teach courses, engage in institution development and conduct training program and consultancy.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Faculty Positions For academic positions, the qualification, experience etc. shall be governed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development guidelines.
Professor:
Ph.D. with 10 years of experience out of which 4 years should be as Associate Professor.
First Class (Min 60%) or equivalent grade in Master’s Degree with a consistently good academic record (Candidates who have pursued Ph.D. after B.E./B.Tech., should have minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade at the graduation level).5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD and 3% relaxation for OBC in Master’s degree. IIM Bodh Gaya will follow Australian Bureau of Deans Council’s ABDC Journal Quality List for research publications.
Equivalence of ABDC journals will be as follows:
One paper in A rated journal = Two papers in B rated Journals = Four papers in C rated Journals.
Minimum of two Research paper in ABDC’s “A Rated Journals” or four in “B Rated Journals” or eight in “C Rated Journals”.
A book published by reputed publisher will be counted as one paper in ‘C’ category of journal.
One case along with teaching note published in Harvard Case Publishing/Richard Ivey/Emerald will be considered equivalent to one paper in ‘C’ Rated Journals.
Preference will be given to FPM/Ph.D. guided candidates.

Associate Professor:
Ph.D. with six years of experience out of which 3 years post Ph.D. experience should be as Assistant Professor or equivalent / Candidates from Industry (Government/ PSU/ Research Organization) having experience of 6 years at the level
equivalent to Assistant Professor.
First class (Min 60%) or equivalent grade in Master’s degree with a consistently good academic record (Candidates who have pursued Ph.D. after B.E./B.Tech., should have minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade at the graduation level).
5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD and 3% relaxation for OBC in Master’s degree. IIM Bodh Gaya will follow Australian Bureau of Deans Council’s ABDC Journal Quality List for research publications.

Ph.D. with three years of experience excluding Ph.D. experience / Candidates from Industry (Government / PSU / Research Organization) having experience of 3 years at the level equivalent to Assistant Professor.
First class (Min 60%) or equivalent grade in Master’s Degrees with a consistently good academic record (Candidates who have pursued Ph.D. after B.E./B.Tech., should have minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade at the graduation level).
5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD and 3% relaxation for OBC in Master’s degree.

If a candidate has completed his/her Ph.D. from IIT/IIM/IISc/IISER/NITIE or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/ institutions of comparable standards in last three years and does not have requisite research publications, he/she may be considered for contractual appointment.

i. Estate cum Project Officer (On Contract)
For retired senior officer from Departments, Undertakings, and authorities under Government of India in Level-10 and above, consolidated salary will be fixed as per Government of India Rules i.e. last pay drawn minus pension plus other perks and benefits as per Government of India Rules.
Upper Age Limit: 55 years. However, upper age criteria for retired Government Officials from Departments, Undertakings, and authorities under Government of India will be relaxed.
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech. in Engineering (Civil) from a recognized University/Institute with 60% and consistently good academic record.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in handling of construction projects post qualification preferably with Departments, Undertakings, and authorities under Government of India.
Desirable: Knowledge of handling of essential computer programmes.

ii. Corporate Relations Manager (On Contract)
Qualification: MBA/PGDM with at least 60% marks or matching CGPA from any institution of national importance or any recognized premier business school.
Essential Skills: Good English Communication (verbal and written), Ability to develop a sound, credible reciprocal relations with industry with good PR, liaison and relationship building skills, ability to facilitate and promote industry/institute interface with a view to meet managerial talent acquisition needs of the industry through the talent pool of the students of IIM Bodh Gaya.
Experience: At least three years of successful experience as Placement Officer/Manager or Placement Head, Training and Placement Officer at any Institute of national importance or a premier business School with a strong corporate network. Proven track record in building a sound and credible industry liaison leading to Management Development Programmes (MDP)
and Consulting Assignments (CA) across industry.
Or
Around two years of experience as HR Head, VP or senior HR level with a prestigious corporate brand with a good network with HR professionals in the industry at top-level who take decisions in the area of talent acquisition and campus placements in particular.
Desirable:
• Candidate with the willingness to travel extensively to build a network with potential recruiters.
• Membership of well-known HR networking bodies.
• A highly motivated person with a pleasing personality and strong people skills.

iii. Finance & Accounts Officer (Regular/Contract)
Upper Age Limit: 40 years
Qualification: Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant OR M.Com. preferably with S.A.S or equivalent, with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Proficiency in computer operations like Excel, Data Management, MS Windows & MS Office is a must.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience post-qualification as Accounts Executive in industry/Govt./Public Sector undertaking, having knowledge of Government financial, accounting, taxation & audit rules and procedures. Experience in institutes of repute like IIMs, IIT, IISER etc. will be preferred. Knowledge of Government financial, accounting, taxation &
audit rules and procedures will be preferred.
Desirable:
• Familiarity in computerized accounting environment such as Tally/ERP/PFMS etc.

iv. Asst. Admin. Officer (Admin. & Hindi Language) (Regular/Contract)
Upper Age Limit: 40 years
Qualification:
i. Good academic record with Master’s degree in Hindi, of at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
ii. Degree course with English/Hindi as compulsory/elective subject or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
Should possess experience in academic institution administration routine management.
Desirable:
• M.Phil. in Hindi.
• Proficiency in MS Office and such applications.
• Knowledge of management of short/long academic courses including routine conduct.

Faculty Recruitment

  1. In case of overwhelming applications, the Screening Committee might use academic/ publication/work- experience parameters as criteria for raising the bar and optimizing the application pool.
  2. If a candidate’s academic credentials are excellent, however, does not have requisite research publications or experience, he/she may be considered for contractual appointment.
  3. Initially a short online application (along-with CV) will be called in all areas.
  4. As and when required, based on the areas’ requirement, detailed application form will be opened. If in any area, the vacancy is of specific super-specialization, that will be informed through the website.
  5. A time window of minimum 15 days will be given to submit the detailed application form in online mode. The email will be sent, to the candidates in the respective area who have already filled the short application form, to fill the detailed application form.
    The fresh candidates may also submit the detailed application form as and when a fresh notification is released.
  6. The detailed applications received on or before the cut-off date will be processed for further recruitment process.
  7. Any submitted application will be active in the system till one year from the date of submission.

Non-Faculty Recruitment
Online applications are invited from excellent academic record and relevant work experience for recruitment to the Non Teaching post
