Kazi Nazrul University (KNU), a fledgling university in the district of Paschim Bardhaman of West Bengal runs post graduate courses on its campus and undergraduate courses in its affiliated colleges. It caters the need of more than forty four thousand students every year. Within six years since its establishment KNU has put a mark in academia by way of functioning for imparting the students knowledge they require and developing in them skills they need for establishing themselves in the global society, and also for delving into the emerging areas of advanced research.

Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. / M.Tech in Remote Sensing / Remote Sensing and GIS / Geomatics/ Geoinformatics / Geospatial Science from a recognized University with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates should have good knowledge/ work experience in Computer Programming (Python/C#.net) with hands on experience in database management system
