🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Professor
Essential:(1)Master’s degree in concerned discipline with 55% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized University. (2)Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline, and actively engaged in teaching, research and extension with evidence of published high quality work with, a minimum of ten research publications in peer reviewed NAAS rated or UGC listed journals. (3)An eminent scholar with minimum of 10 years experience T/R/E provided two years experience as Associate Professor (Rs. 12000-18300) (pre-revised)/revised pay scale as per 6thpay commission in an equivalent position(Rs. 37000-67000+Rs. 9000 AGP or equivalent at the University/National level institution).
Desirable:Teaching Experience at UG and PG level in the concerned discipline
Note: For the post of Professor (Extension Education & Communication Management),Bachelor degree in Home Science/Community Science degree is required and all other qualifications will be same as above.

Associate Professor
Essential:(1)Master’s degree in concerned discipline with 55% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized University. (2)Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline. (3)An eminent scholar with minimum of 08 years experience of T/R/E at Assistant Professor or equivalent level (excluding period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree) in the Pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500 or revised pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay of 5400/6000/7000/8000 as per 6th pay commission serving at University/College, ICAR/CSIR or any other such research organizations/institutes with evidence of published work with, a minimum of seven research publications in peer reviewed NAAS rated or UGC listed journals.
Desirable:Teaching Experience at UG and PG level in the concerned discipline, and research papers published in national/international refereed journals

Assistant Professor(For Post No.3,4,5,8,9and 19)
Essential: -(1) B.Sc. (Ag.)/B.Sc. (Hons)Ag./B.Sc. (Horti.)/ B.Sc. (Hons)Horti./B.Sc. (Forestry)/ B.Sc. (Hons)Forestry with at least 55% marks in percentage or its equivalent grade in the point scale system by a recognized university.(2) Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university. (3)For the candidates having Master’s degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations, 2009(and also as per ICAR letter No. 23(46)/2010-EQR (Edn.) dated 26thDecember, 2011, issued by ADG (EQR)), and the candidate has at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating of not less than 4.0 on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not be considered for NET exemption. (4)Further, the award of degrees to candidates registered for the M. Phil/Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/By laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degrees and the Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions: -(a) Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only; (b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners; (c) Candidate had published two research papers out of which at least one in a refereed journal from out of his/her Ph.D. work; (d) The candidate had presented two papers in seminars/conferences from out of his/her Ph.D. work; (e) Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Vice-Chancellor/ Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs)/Dean (University Instructions)/Director (Resident Instructions). Desirable: Ph.D. in concerned discipline.

Assistant Professor(Post harvest Technology) (For Post No. 10)
Essential: -(1) B.Sc. (Ag.)/B.Sc. (Hons)Ag./B.Sc. (Horti.)/ B.Sc. (Hons)Horti./B.Sc. Food Tech./B.Tech. (Food Tech.)with at least 55% marks in percentage or its equivalent grade in the point scale system by a recognized university.(2) Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university. (Maths/PCM)with at least 55% marks in percentage or its equivalent grade in the point scale system by a recognized university.(2) Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university. The last date for receiving the applications in the University office is 30 January, 2021 (5.00 pm). The applications received after the last date shall stand rejected. Applicants should clearly note that the University will, in no case, be responsible for non-receipt of their applications and any delay in receipt thereof on any account.

Candidate should submit his/her ‘Application’ complete in all respects along with bank draft and other essential and supporting documents, either personally on any working day or through registered post/speed post only to ‘Director Administration & Monitoring, Banda University of Agriculture & Technology, Banda- 210001, Uttar Pradesh.
