IIM Jammu Announced Extension of last date for submission of online application for Non Faculty Positions

Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for the following Positions. Interested Eligible candidates fulfilling the criteria may submit their applications in the prescribed format along with the detailed CV / As per the Norms.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Consultant (Accounts & Compliance)
Job Profile:

  • Compliance with Government regulations, GFR and Institute’s norms.
  • Establishment of sound accounting, auditing and other financial management practices in maintaining Public Funds.
  • Pre-Audit of HR related matters, Tenders, Purchase Orders and employees claims, all payments etc.
  • Design & Implement accounting & audit control systems, Preparation of Manuals.
  • Provide opinion on matters referred, especially about their viability and acceptability keeping in view the precedents, norms and applicable rules.
  • Oversee Institute’s management activities, and enforce principles of integrity and compliance

Qualification: 
Candidates must be Commerce/Economics graduate with 55% marks. Preference will be given to the candidates having post-graduation degree in Commerce/Economics and having knowledge of MS Office.
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in accounts/audit department of a Central Govt. organizations. Retired officers of Indian Accounts and Audit Department preferably from commercial background and other Government of India, Autonomous bodies holding post of Sr. Audit Officers / Accounts Officers with experience of handling the finance, Internal audit and administrative matters in organized audit & accounts department. Candidate must have sound knowledge of Government regulations in procurement of Goods & Service related matters, GFR 2017 and HR related matters. Experience at IIMs/IITs or CFITs or Autonomous Institutions under GOI in accounts department will be preferred.
Upper age limit: 65 years.
Consolidated emoluments: Consolidated salary in the range of Rs. 45,000/- to 55,000/- per month. (Telephone & Conveyance as applicable).

Management Trainee
Job Profile: To assist the various Department/ Activity Heads of the Institute.
Qualification: Master’s degree preferably in Management with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Proficient in MS Office is must.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.
Upper age limit: 30 years.
Consolidated emoluments: Rs.20,000-25,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience.

Accounts Trainee
Job Profile: To assist the FA&CAO in Finance & Accounts related work/ activity of the Institute.
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Commerce (10+2+3+2) with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience. The candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting such as maintenance of accounts, processing of bills and budgeting etc. The candidate should be proficient in accounting management software such as Tally/ERP. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.
Upper age limit: 30 years.
Consolidated emoluments: Rs.20,000-25,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience.

 IT & Systems Trainee
Job Profile: To assist System Manager in IT related work/activity of the Institute.
Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology or MCA with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred. 
Upper age limit: 30 years.
Consolidated emoluments: Rs.20,000-25,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience.

Visiting Doctor (Part time)
Qualification: MBBS with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university /Institute.
Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience.
Honorarium: Consolidated Rs. 1,000/- (all inclusive) per hour per visit. No other allowance or benefit will be admissible.
Visiting Timing is one hour from Monday to Saturday (Thrice a week for each Doctor). The visiting hours may be increased, if required.

Gym Trainer (Part time)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Physical Education with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university /Institute.
Experience: Minimum 03 years’ experience.
Consolidated emoluments: Rs.15000-20,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience. No other allowance or benefit will be admissible.
Visiting Timing is four hours (2 hrs in Morning and 2 hrs in evening) everyday. The visiting hours may be increased, if required.


🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

  • Consultant (Accounts & Compliance) Consolidated salary in the range of Rs. 45,000/- to 55,000/- per month. (Telephone & Conveyance as applicable).
  • Management Trainee  Rs.20,000-25,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience.
  • Accounts Trainee Rs.20,000-25,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience.
  • IT & Systems Trainee Rs.20,000-25,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience.
  • Visiting Doctor (Part time) Consolidated Rs. 1,000/- (all inclusive) per hour per visit
  • Gym Trainer (Part time) Rs.15000-20,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience. No other allowance or benefit will be admissible.

All other Terms and Conditions will remain the same

  1. Selected candidates will be initially appointed on contract basis for a period of <b>11 months/ one year</b> on consolidated emoluments. The contract may be extended depending on performance of the incumbent and need of the Institute. 
  2. Cut-off date for determining the age may be kept as the first day of the month on which the advertisement for the positions is published in the Newspapers / Institute website.
  3. All Certificates, Degrees, and other documents for educational qualification, professional qualification, work experience and age proof etc. should be produced in original at the time of written exam/ interview. Failure to produce these original documents may result into ineligibility to appear for the selection process/ interview. 
  4. Candidates already in government service should produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of selection process/ interview, if called for the same. 
  5. Mere fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that the applicant will be shortlisted. 
  6. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
  7. No correspondence/queries will be entertained from candidates regarding e-mail delays, conduct and reasons for not being considered for the selection process/ interview. 
  8. No TA/DA or any other incidental expenses will be reimbursed for attending the selection process/ interview. 
  9. Candidate, if selected, will have to manage his/her own accommodation arrangements. 
  10. IIM Jammu reserves the right to recruit additional trainees as per its requirement.
  11. IIM Jammu reserves the right not to fill all or any of the post, for whatsoever any reasons.
