The Central Agricultural University has been established by an act of Parliament, the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (No.40 of 1992). The Act came into effect on 26th January, 1993 with the issue of notification by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Govt. of India. The University became functional with the joining of first Vice-Chancellor on 13th September, 1993. The jurisdiction of the University extends to seven North-Eastern Hill States viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland and Tripura, with headquarters at Imphal in Manipur.

📝 HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates may appear for the Walk-in-interview for the following 2 (two) Asst. Prof. on contractual basis for six months in the given discipline for the UGC approved project of two nos. of vocational certificate courses under NSQF, Level-4 at COVSc & AH, Jalukie, Nagaland either in person at Dean’s office of the College or through online Zoom platform on 28th Nov., 2020 at 10:00AM.
Interested candidate have to send their application (Bio-data) along with the photocopy of the documents to the Dean College of Veterinary Sciences & A.H., CAU, Jalukie or through email id covsccaujalukie@yahoo.com/cvscah.jalukie-ngl@gov.in. The last date of receiving application will be on 26th Nov 2020, 5:00 PM and zoom link will be send via email on 27th Nov, 2020.
The candidate should have Ph. D. degree in the relevant subject or Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point and evidence of having cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR, ASRB, UGC-CSIR. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching / research experience. No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview. The positions are purely temporary, contractual, co-terminus with the project and may be terminated at any time and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment. The candidates should bring bio-data in the following format and originals certificates along with self attested photocopies of their certificates as well as passport size photographs have to be produced during the time of joining.
