Indian Institute of Management Nagpur started its journey in the year 2015 under the mentorship of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The Institute’s first batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management commenced on the 23rd of July 2015.IIM Nagpur, being a new generation IIM, aims to create value-driven leaders, global managers, and entrepreneurs with strong conceptual foundations and analytical approach to help them be the best in whichever field they choose. The aim is to innovatively address the needs of a modern India, and connecting aspirations and realities to attain benchmarks that are respected internationally. IIM Nagpur is gradually increasing its portfolio of activities to fulfill these objectives.The campus is rich with state-of-the-art classrooms to facilitate various pedagogies, IT infrastructure for connectivity and access to academic resources among others.

🎯 JOB DESCRIPTION

Executive – Admissions
The selected candidate will lead and handle Admissions Office in all activities related to admissions of the various long duration Programmes of the institute. The activities include analyzing the data and giving policy inputs to the Committee, coordinating with external parties and managing the admission process of the various long-duration Programmes of the institute. The person will also have to travel for admissions related activities. Duties and responsibilities of the appointed person will include but are not limited to following;
Preparing budgets for admissions office – domestic and overseas admissions
Coordinate in preparing the admission policies and processing the documents for domestic and overseas admissions.
Overseas advertising through digital and print media.
Coordination and handling of the domestic admission process including arrangement of the logistics arrangements for PI and WAT process.
Conducting documents verification during the process.
Sending the provisional offer letters and tracking of payments.
Coordinate and conduct and registration process, verifying the declarations, annexures and returning the original documents.

Executive – Content Writing
Perform research to develop and produce online and print content.
Dynamic content development for institute website.
Function as moderator and administrator for online message boards and blogs.
Produce and edit newsletters / magazines / brochures / reports / journals etc.
Draft and edit assigned editorials, talking points and press releases.
Create and post timely content on the Institute’s website.
Function as Institute’s lead social networker and manage its social media presence.
Manage press interactions during institute events and will be the point of contact for press and media.

Junior Electrical Engineer
The primary area of work would include Procurement, maintenance of Electrical assets and installation works. Duties of the person include but are not limited to the following:
Junior Engineer will work with the Assistant Engineer in activities related to estate, maintenance, electrical and general maintenance and housekeeping.
Familiarity with procedures and past experience will be an advantage.
Assist in establishment of Estate related contracts through tender process.
Develop and monitor service legal agreement with service providers.
Manage/Monitor contractor’s/ service providers to provide an efficient, cost effective service, responsive to institute needs, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with agreed SLAs’
Ensure services are undertaken safely by use of permit to work system, method statements, and risk assessments in accordance with relevant legislation.
Establish and participate in a formal, robust and out of hours support services for the campus and the estate.
Ensure security of people, property and estate by physical and electronic surveillance means and checks.
Any other duties related to facilities management.

Junior Executive Assistant (Administration)
The selected candidate will manage the Director’s Secretariat including the office administration, correspondence handling, BoG meetings coordination, hospitality and travel coordination, external correspondence, office filing, Policy formulation & other allied administrative works. Duties of the person include but are not limited to the following –
Managing the appointments of CAO & Director.
Handling internal and external communication with Ministries and other Govt. offices.
Organizing board and other committee meetings including travel coordination, accommodation & logistics.
Preparing agenda and minutes of the meetings.
Managing the travel plan for external visits.
Develop and maintain efficient filing system for administration office, Administrative policies, compendium and other procedures.
Any other co-aligned matters assigned from time to time.May have to travel occasionally for outstation events / meetings.

Junior Executive – Programme (PGP Office)
Coordination with all stake holders such as students, faculties, internal departments and external agencies.
Time Management and planning to ensure the timely delivery of an academic matters/flawless execution of programme.
Efficient and responsive communication with programme faculty and participants.
Time-table preparation for all the respective terms, online and on campus module in as desired by Programme chair.
Attendance management, Conduct of exams, Grading and collection.
Facilities bookings, classrooms and study material availability and allied coordination.
Maintaining the database & regular update systematic filing of records (softcopy / hardcopy both).
Collecting, entering and collating course and instructor’s feedbacks.
Preparation of letters such as invitation letters/bonafide based on student’s suitable requirements/disciplinary etc. under the guidance of department head.
Terms registration of participants, event management support and convocation related work.
Assisting the PGP Office in its day-to-day /any other duty assigned by department head related to academics as per requirement which may involve working on weekends if need be.


🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Executive – Admissions
He/ She will be a Post-Graduate in any discipline is a must preferably from a reputed university / Institute or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
Skills:

  • Ability to handle large data in Excel, good command over Excel, knowledge of basic statistics. Excellent IT skills with expertise in PowerPoint, Word and Google applications such as Gmail and Google Drive.
  • Basic understanding of the design/logic of software and servers.
  • The candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact/negotiate with external/third parties and multi-tasking abilities.
  • The job requires an extremely high level of integrity, dedication and passion for learning new things on the job.
    Experience:
    The candidate needs to have post – qualification experience at least 6 years in total and at least 2 years of experience in an academic institute. Experience in an institute of national repute like IIMs or IITs will be a distinct advantage. Experience in handling activities such as admissions, registrations and allied academic activities will be an added advantage.
    Age: Min. 25 years – Max. 35 years

Executive – Content Writing
Post Graduate, preferred majors are journalism, new media or management.
Skills:Ability to write engaging and correct online and print content
Sound communication skills and excellent English, especially written
Basic knowledge of HTML and understanding of the content management systems (CMS)
Experience:Minimum 4 years’ experience in creating or sourcing content and editing for websites/magazines/blogs/Journals
Experience in Digital marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media management is preferred.

Junior Electrical Engineer
Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute is a must.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Must have proven experience in academic institutions. Excellent use of MS-Office tools such as MS – Outlook, Word, Power point, Excel etc.
The candidate may be tested on the computer skills as required for the position during the interview process.
2 years’ relevant experience in large educational institution is preferable. Industry experience in electric maintenance is acceptable.

Junior Executive Assistant (Administration)
Graduate in any discipline is a must, diploma / post-graduation or relevant HR qualification is desirable.
Skills:The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Hindi and English.
Must have proven experience in academic institutions. Excellent use of MS – office tools such as MS-outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
The candidates may be tested on the computer skills as required for the position during the interview process.
Excellent organization skills.

Junior Executive – Programme (PGP Office)
Graduation in any discipline is a must. Post Graduate preferred with minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university/ Institute or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
Multitasking and proficiency in computer operations like Excel (especially excel), database Management MS windows & MS Office is must.
Be a self-starter and take initiative, follow-up and drive activity. The candidate applying for the above position must be a citizen of India.
Experience:
Post qualification experience of 2-3 years in Academic Administration activities is essential, desirable if the experience in an institute of national repute like IIMs or IITs will be a distinct advantage.
Skills:
Excellent use of MS – Office tools such as MS- Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other productivity tools is essential.
The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills & multitasking abilities and ability to interact with senior leadership.
The candidate may be tested on the computer skills as required for the position during the interview process.
Positive attitude, a detail orientation and ability to interact with the senior leadership, Confident & self-motivated, should have a capability of being a team player and resourceful in managing challenges.


🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

  • Executive – Admissions Selected candidate will be offered a regular appointment with probation period of 2 years at level 6 as per the 7th CPC (Pay scale 35400 – 46200 Entry pay 35400)
  • Executive – Content Writing Selected candidate will be offered a contractual appointment for a period of up to one year on a consolidated monthly salary mode.
  • Junior Electrical Engineer Selected candidate will be offered a contractual appointment for a period of up to one year on a consolidated monthly salary mode.
  • Junior Executive Assistant (Administration) Selected candidate will be offered a contractual appointment for a period of up to two years on a consolidated monthly salary mode.
