🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Ph.D in Pharmacy from reputed universities/institutes and First Class Master’s degree & Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy. Such candidates should have a minimum of 10 -15 years of experience in teaching and quality research in reputed PCI approved/recognised pharmacy colleges with other Administrative Leadership roles.
A person having experience in industry/corporate organizations for at least a period of 15 years at the level of General Manager or Sr. Management & above in one of the Publicly listed companies with minimum Post Graduate Degree in Pharmacy may be considered. Candidates should also have strong research/publication background indicating academic bent of mind. Ph.D. Degree is desirable. Applicants with experience in Pharma Management will be given preference.
i. Teaching, industrial research and / or professional experience in a reputed organization;
ii. Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books, and / or technical reports;
iii. Experience of guiding the project work, dissertation of post graduate or research students or supervising R & D projects in industry;
iv. Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and / or professional activities; and
v. Capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R & D, consultancy and related activities
The person shall be overall responsible for the growth of the institution, quality improvement, periodical reviews, placement and industry collaboration. He/she is required to provide guidance in planning, coordination and implementation of academic programmes as per the UGC rules and regulations and other statutory bodies like PCI/AICTE from time to time. Should be well acquainted with various Academic Admin Processes, Accreditation Agencies and Statutory bodies and their procedures. He/She will lead a portfolio of long & short duration programmes in Pharmacy in close coordination with the Dean of the School / Director of the Campus. He/She will work to attract well-known professionals & academics in this field to the institution.
