Rama Devi Women’s University is the First Women’s University of the state of Odisha . It was established as a University on 30th May, 2015,after the erstwhile Rama Devi Women’s Autonomous College was upgraded to a University by the State Govt .Iinitially 46 Women’s Colleges affiliated to Utkal University were brought under its jurisdiction.. It was started in 1964 in the name of Government Women’s College and carried on its mission of propagation of education in the state .The Government Women’s College Bhubaneswar was renamed as Rama Devi Women’s College in 1969 in the name of Maa Rama Devi ,the brave freedom fighter of the nation and ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in PG (without rounding off) or equivalent examination from any recognized University/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible to apply. However, candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD category are relaxed with 5% off marks i.e (50% marks without rounding off) in Master’s degree are eligible to apply.
Retired professors and experts in relevant fields up to the age of 65 may submit their biodata for consideration. They are not required to attend the Interview Board.
Odia, Political science, Philosophy, History, Commerce, Economics, English, Hindi, Music, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Sanskrit, Home science, Education, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biotechnology PG in the concerned subjects
MSc in Industrial Microbiology / Microbiology with adequate experience in conducting Microbiology practicals. Candidates with M. Phil / PhD in the subject will be preferred
PG in Environmental Sciences / Botany or Zoology with specialization in Environmental Biology
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE
₹ Remuneration Amount Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred)only per class subject to maximum limit of Rs.20.000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousandjonly per month

📝 HOW TO APPLY
Candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-interview from 05.11.2020 to 11.11.2020 for empanelment of Guest faculty in the U.G & P.G.
The candidates are required to-come to the personal interview with a filled in application form in the format enclosed with self-attested photocopies of their certificates, mark sheets of all examinations and a recent coloured passport size photograph pasted on the front page. No application by post shall be entertained before the date of personal interview.
The engagement is purely temporary and for one academic session (2020-21) only or till further order whichever is earlier. There shall be no extension of engagement beyond one academic session. Canvassing in any form or influencing any person of the University in his/her favour will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
- a) Filled in application form with a passport size photograph affixed on the top of the application (format enclosed).
b) Self-attested photo copies of certificate & marksheets of all examination passed.
c) Experience Certificate (s) from concerned authorities.
d) Copies of publications, if any
e) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category are required to submit attested copy of the category certificate along with the application form.
f) Original certificates to be produced at the time of interview for verification.
- The selection procedure will be purely provisional and can be rejected any time without assigning any reason thereof.
- Candidates will have to adhere to the COVID – 19 guidelines during the interview.
They have to wear proper “MASK”.
They have to bring their own “SANITIZER”.
They have to Maintain “SOCIAL DISTANCE”.
