💼 ABOUT INSTITUTION

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad is “A” Grade University re-accredited by NAAC, Bangaluru in 2013. The jurisdiction of the University is spread over Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts. The University has to serve historical and cultural needs of the whole Marathwada. The name of city however illustrious, cannot exercise the same spell upon the imagination of the Marathwada People. The name of the University must be such that it will make an emotional appeal to the heart and minds of the people. The name Marathwada has that advantage, therefore it was named as “Marathwada University” on 14th January 1994. The University was renamed “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University” to pay homage to work done by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar for the educational development of Marathwada region.The University Campus covers an area of more then 650 Acres of land

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Chief Executive Officer
❖An Engineering /Science and Technology/ Other post graduate from any accredited and nationally reputed institute/university having Minimum 8 to 10 years of overall work experience, with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in the start-up / Innovation /Entrepreneurship domain, either as a start-up founder / co-founder / core team member /key employee of a start-up and / or as an enabler of start-up/Innovation ecosystem or in a lead position in reputed Innovation & start-up promoting organization.
❖An Engineering Post graduate with prior experience in any streams related to Agriculture /Bio-Technology /Sensor Technology /Instrumentation Automation/ Nanotechnology/ Information Technology sector will be useful. ❖A MBA from AICTE accredited MBA program from national and international accredited institutes or higher degree with relevant experience may be added advantage.
❖Candidate who have helped start-ups/Incubators to scale up through funding/market development and allied means will be preferred. If the candidate is from Start-up background, he/she should have raised funding from credible sources or expanded his start-ups to certain level. Experience of building a start-up though it might have failed at decent stage is valued positively as this experience would be quite handy for nurturing start-ups. ❖Applicants must be able to clearly demonstrate entrepreneurial skills and experience as an enabler for start-ups/Innovation ecosystem or as an entrepreneur or start-up founder is preferred.
❖The candidate should have ability to develop network with the local or regional institutions such as Electronics/Automobiles/Pharmaceuticals/Biotechnology companies and allied organization.
❖Applicants with previous experience collaborating with government departments / agencies / allied organizations/Private sector, along with demonstration of fundraising for non-profit organizations shall be preferred for shortlisting.
❖Applicants must mandatorily have a clear understanding of local, national and global start-up ecosystems and the ability to find ways to collaborate with ecosystem stakeholders for advancing the objectives of the AIC. ❖Applicants must be able to clearly demonstrate understanding of current innovations and in above specified areas, and further possess a passion for solving social issues and challenges.
❖Applicants must be able to clearly demonstrate leadership and management skills, and previous experience leading teams and programs is a must.
❖Applicants must possess a strong command on English language, preferably with suitable proficiency in Hindi and Marathi.
Desirable:-
❖The Head of the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC-BAMU Foundation) at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will be the operational and de-facto executive head of the Atal Incubation Center at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
❖The Head shall be appointed under the aegis of AIC-BAMU Foundation, a not-forprofit, Section 8 subsidiary company of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
❖The Head will work closely with Director- Innovation, Incubation and Linkages at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and report to the company board.
❖The Head Employed by AIC-BAMU Foundation not-for-profit-company for maximum period of 5 years will be liability of the company. University will not have any liability towards them
❖It is expected that the Head shall play a crucial role towards establishing the Atal Incubation Centre from afresh.
❖The grant process of the AIC is still underway, as of announcement of this application procedure.
❖The Head will be required to lead all operations of the Incubator under AIC, give it strategic direction, build and scale incubation programs, outreach programs, measure impact, as well as collaborate with national and global ecosystems to employ best practices in order to convert the incubation centre into a world-class hub for solving relevant social issues.
❖Create significant value for start-ups, investors and incubator and make it one of the top incubator in this domain globally.
❖He / She should be able steer the early stage Start-ups to Growth stage enterprises in due course of time and make the incubator sustainable.
❖Preferable age of the candidate around 40 years.

Incubation Manager
Essential Qualification & Experience:-
❖ An engineering graduate or post graduate (preferably MBA or equivalent) with 10 years of relevant managerial work experience with research skills;
❖ Out of which, minimum 4 year experience is required working with entrepreneurs, start-ups, learning/tinkering labs, incubator or incubation consultancy
❖ Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build and maintain strong working relationships with start-ups, entrepreneurs, mentors, universities, research institutions, industry experts, associations, chamber of commerce & industries, state & central government, and angel investors.
Desirable:-
❖ He/she is required for the development and execution of the strategy for outreach, hunting, attracting and on boarding deserving and qualified innovative entrepreneurs and start-ups
❖ He/she should be well-versed in designing & managing Incubation and Acceleration programs in the Centre with providing high-quality coaching and advisory support to aspirants.
❖ He/she is required for the overall strategic planning and implementation along with strategic and operational guidance to the aspirants and overall qualitative setup of innovation ecosystem
❖ Age preferably up to 40 years

Accountant-cum-Administrator
Essential Qualification & Experience:-
❖ A graduate or post graduate (preferably CA/CS/CMA) in accounting or financing with minimum 5 year experience as in accounting and administration from Corporate sector
❖ With proven track record in accounting, office & project management such as in meeting deadlines, timely submission of acceptable deliverables, etc.;
❖ Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
❖ With satisfactory skills on the use of office software packages such as Tally, MS Word, Excel, Accounting software and Power Point
Desirable:-
❖ He/she shall be familiar with knowledge of administrative and accounting laws, regulations and procedures timely laid down by the Government
❖ He/she shall be experienced in the preparation and implementation of quarterly/annual working plans; financial transactions, budgetary workloads, salaries, bank transfers & monitoring etc.
❖ He/she shall be well-versed in the preparations of various administrative & financial statements, vouchers, cash transactions, writing receipts and settling the advances etc.
❖ He/she shall be familiarized to maintain the official records for various projects both in paper and electronically; to maintain the files of all the personnel, consultants and stakeholders; to manage the staff attendance, time records, salaries and other welfares
❖ He/she has to undertake all the accounting and administrative matters assigned by the Authorities
❖ Age preferably upto 35 years

Executive Officer (Facility)
Essential Qualification & Experience:-
❖ A post graduate from faculty of science & technology having research background with minimum 3 years’ experience of working in industry.
❖ Well-versed in handling, procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment/instrumentation facility
❖ Excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills.
Desirable:-
❖ He/she shall be responsible for maintenance of lab facility through AMC of equipment, procurement of consumables for lab and user trainings
❖ He/she shall be required to support and assist the incubates/aspirants
❖ He/she has to undertake all the official matters as and when assigned by the respective Authorities
❖ Age preferably up to 35 years

Support Staff (Front Desk)
Essential Qualification & Experience:-
❖ Any graduate or post graduate with minimum 3 years of experience working in an educational organization/industry.
❖ Required with excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills in English
❖ Well-versed in Typing, MS-Office and handing the communications
Desirable:-
❖ He/she will responsible for the front desk support to the Centre; keeping front desk tidy and presentable, greet and welcome guests, answering questions and addressing complaints, receive/send letters, packages etc; monitoring and drafting official correspondence.
❖ He/she has to communicate proactively wide telephone, internet and other communication mediums with the incubates and aspirants;
❖ He/she has to undertake all the official matters as and when assigned by the respective Authorities
❖ Age preferably up to 35 years

Support Staff (IT)
Essential Qualification & Experience:-
❖ Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering or MSc in Computer Science or Information Technology with minimum 5 years of experience working with technical expertise
❖ Preferably technically certified from institutes of national/international repute
Desirable:-
❖ He/she will responsible for troubleshooting the hardware & networking, internet issues and technical assistance to incubates and other officials as and when needed
❖ He/she has to configure and install software’s, drivers, ICT devices and video conferencing nits etc.
❖ He/she has to maintain and manage the technical resources with inventories of the technical stocks and routine maintenance of the same
❖ Required with excellent communication skills in English with a passion to resolve queries successfully and quickly
❖ He/she has to undertake other technical matters as and when assigned by the respective Authorities
❖ Age preferably up to 35 years

Executive Officer (Outreach)
Essential Qualification & Experience:-
❖ Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering or MSc in Computer Science or Information Technology and MBA in (preferably Marketing or Production & Operations) with minimum 3 years of experience working in a Corporate organization.
❖ Well-versed in handling and managing the data, content writing and handling the e- communication and organizing various activities
❖ Excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills
Desirable:-
❖ He/she shall be responsible for planning and organizing the outreach activities for incubates and start-ups.
❖ He/she shall be required to manage and handle the official e-mails, website content and social media contents of Incubation Centre.
❖ He/she has to keep track and organize external events such as Start-up Contests, Hackathons, and Various Training Sessions for the incubates in university and in affiliated colleges.
❖ He/she has to coordinate and work with external contacts and influencers for ensuring good quality contents and for extensive outreach of the centre.
❖ He/she has to handle the public relations and has to build relationships with proactive incubates, entrepreneurs and industries.
❖ He/she has to undertake all the official matters as and when assigned by the respective Authorities.
❖ Age preferably up to 35 years


🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

  • Chief Executive Officer The salary will be around Rs. 1,00,000/- per month negotiable. Possible compensation and final offer may differ based on relevant experience and performance of the candidate.
  • Incubation Manager The salary will be around Rs. 50,000/- per month negotiable. Possible compensation and final offer may differ based on relevant experience and performance of the candidate
  • Accountant-cum-Administrator The salary will be around Rs. 40,000/- per month negotiable. Possible compensation and final offer may differ based on relevant experience and performance of the candidate.
  • Executive Officer (Facility) The salary will be around Rs. 50,000/- per month negotiable. Possible compensation and final offer may differ based on relevant experience and performance of the candidate.
  • Support Staff (Front Desk) The salary will be around Rs. 25,000/- per month negotiable. Possible compensation and final offer may differ based on relevant experience and performance of the candidate.
  • Support Staff (IT) The salary will be around Rs. 25,000/- per month negotiable. Possible compensation and final offer may differ based on relevant experience and performance of the candidate.
  • Executive Officer (Outreach) The salary will be around Rs. 50,000/- per month negotiable. Possible compensation and final offer may differ based on relevant experience and performance of the candidate.
