🎯 TITLE OF THE PROJECT
Mechanisms of Retinal Degeneration in Retinitis Pigmentosa Type 12: Role of the crumbs-homology proteins-1 and -2’ in the laboratory
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Junior Research Fellow : The applicant must have a M.Sc degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent and should have qualified UGC-CSIR, UGC-NET (including lectureship), GATE OR a national level examination conducted by central government departments/institutions/agencies such as DBT, DST, ICMR, MHRD, IISc, IIT, and IISER. Additionally, the candidate should have one year experience of working in a life science laboratory.
Candidates having previous experience in cloning, protein expression and purification; mammalian cell culture, bacterial culture and fluorescence microscopy are strongly encouraged to apply.
PhD in Social Sciences in Health, Urban Health Studies, Environmental Health
Senior Researcher: Experience of working on the issues of environment, health and social determinants of health; familiarity with the National Capital Region. Two years of research experience of working in international research projects would be an advantage.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE
- Rs. 31,000 plus 24% HRA per month.
- 60,000/- + 24% HRA = 74,400/-pm
