Dean – School of Performing Arts

  • Ph.D. in any field in Performing Arts/Preferably Music Performance/Education or other relevant field with evidence of published work and research guidance. Served as a Professor/ Associate Professor at a university or college of music for minimum 15 years. Candidates from Western music preferred.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and administering the education policies approved by NMIMS
  • Devising and monitoring the class curriculum of the courses
  • Planning and directing school activities related to student services including admissions, growth, progress and placement
  • Devising the school calendar and plan events for the year
  • Sourcing faculties overseas and locally
  • Liaising and building relations with organisations and universities overseas and locally
  • Liaising with International and Local artists as brand ambassadors for the college
  • Structuring new programmes, master classes and workshops and implementing them

He/She should be ready to assist & move along with the Director/Dean to strengthen his plan and implement to its core. He/She should have strong academic and administrative skills. Understand the emerging trend and opportunities, creative and innovative bent of mind. Should be technology savvy, an institution builder, motivator, should be able to handle the faculty, build his team and will be overall incharge of academic administration of the school. He/She will look after the student affairs & placement activities.

The incumbent should have a Ph.D. from a reputed University/Institute with atleast 15 years of Academic and Administrative experience in the field. Should have strong linkages & network with the industry & academics. Should be well acquainted with the various Accreditation Agencies and Statutory bodies as well as the procedures.

Director (Shirpur Campus)

The Director would be an Academician & a team leader. We are looking for a vision leader for our campus who will be reporting to the Vice Chancellor. Director heads the Campus and hence is responsible for all the programs delivered at the campus besides managing compliances. 

He should be ready to move along with the Dean to strengthen his plan and implement to its core. He should have strong academic and administrative skills. Understand the emerging trend and opportunities, creative and innovative bent of mind. Should be technology savvy, an institution builder, motivator, should be able to handle the faculty and academic administration of the school. He/She will look after the student affairs & placement activities.

The individual should have a MBA and Ph.D. from one of the premier Management Institution/University in India. with atleast 15 years of Academic and Administrative experience in the field. Should have strong linkages & network with the industry & academics. Should be well acquainted with the various Accreditation Agencies and Statutory bodies as well as the procedures 

Dean Jyoti Dalal School of Liberal Arts, Mumbai

  • Qualification
  • Ph.D. in Arts/Literature/Philosophy/Psychology/ Humanities or other relevant interdisciplinary studies/field with evidence of published work and research guidance. Served as a Professor at a university or college/Institution for minimum 15 years.
  • Knowledge of Performing Arts of active participation in Theatre, Development Reading, Writing, Arts & Drama will be an added advantage.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and administering the education policies approved by NMIMS

Associate Dean – Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics

Master’s in Economics with consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) recognized by the AICTE / UGC;
ii.Ph.D. or Fellow of Indian Institute of Management or of an Institute recognized by AICTE and declared equivalent by the AIU.
iii. A minimum of ten years’ experience of teaching / industry / research / professional out of which five years must be at the level of Reader or equivalent excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degree.
OR
iv.In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
1.Master’s in Economics or consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) recognized by the AICTE / UGC.
2.The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and twelve years’ managerial experience in industry / profession of which at least eight years should be at least at a level comparable to that of Reader / Assistant Professor.
3.Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may also include such as Books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Project, Patent filed.
v.Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:
i.Teaching, Research, and / or professional experience in a reputed organization;
ii.Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books and / or technical reports;
iii.Experience of guiding the project work / dissertation of PG / Research Students or supervising R & D projects in industry;
iv.Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and / or professional activities; and
v.capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R & D consultancy and related activities.

Coordinator (Examination)

Duties & Responsibilities                                                                    

  • Organizes and coordinates for the examination under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
  • Ensures method of evaluation specifications is submitted and that related regulations are respected.
  • Prepares draft of offline examination venue (seating arrangement).
  • Distributes schedules to faculties and departments.
  • Resolves schedule conflicts
  • Coordinates the storage and delivery of examination papers at respective centre.
  • Verifies results to ensure instructions have been followed
  • Ensures security measures are in place and maintained.
  • Liaises between faculties and students. Resolves problems. Makes recommendations to improve examination process.
  • Coordinates and authorizes room booking for exam purposes. Schedules and administers special needs if any during examinations.
  • Uses variety of equipment such as a personal computer, photocopier, fax machine, and other standard office equipment.
  • To be present on days the school is declaring the results and to attend queries from students
  • To be present on all important dates as per the examination calendar released
  • To assist in the supervision and management of a team of external exam invigilators and report to the immediate supervisor on daily basis after the end of each session.
  • Must be aware of all updated & previous examination rules applicable to different batches and rightly communicate to the students.
  • To assist in online examination conduction as per requirement.

Experience

Admin & HR Officer / Manager

HR & Admin Officer

The HR and Admin Officer is directly responsible for the employee life cycle management of all employees at NGASCE. In addition will also lead the administrative function of the School, Manage the various administrative activities including logistics, travel & event.

Area of Responsibility in HR Role 

  1. Recruitment
  2. Maintain a database of budgeted positions viz-a-viz current status, number of vacant positions and work towards providing suitable manpower for vacant positions.
  3. Get directions from the Director/Head about the new positions, contribute actively in planning the recruitment cycle of such new requirements and implement the University recruitment process.
  4. Will coordinate with University Central HR Department for various HR systems and processes
  5. Will coordinate/generate offer letters; appointment letters, document collection, etc.
  6. Maintain the personal files update them regularly.

Area of Responsibility in Admin Role

  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders
  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
  • Maintain and update databases of the vendors and service providers
  • Will monitor and supervise the logistics team at the School
  • Book meeting rooms & make travel arrangements, accommodations as required
  • Manage distribution and correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
  • Maintain database of outsourced staff and manage payout, renewal of contracts, etc.

Zonal Head

Job Role:

Overall: Channel Development, Channel Development and Sales Management for a Zone

·         Create and develop new channels (AEP’s)
·         Achievement of Enrolment targets through channel partners
·         Drive reregistration of enrolled students through channel partners
·         Implementation of short team and long term plans of the Management
·         Achieving revenue goals in line with enrolment and reregistration targets
·         Monitor performance at partner level and put into action plans of improvement while ensuring compliance of guidelines by the channels
·         Managing operations of the region, Coordination with HO and various departments to ensure smooth operations and strong student satisfaction.

Joint Controller of Examination

The person shall be responsible for coordinating various term/semester end examinations of the University as per the academic calendar of the schools. He/She will be responsible for monitoring topics covered during a term/semester by faculty members, will also create a question bank, coordination with the external question paper setter, selection, printing, packing, dispatch of question papers on time. He/She shall be responsible for grievance redresssal of the students.

The person shall be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the entire administrative functions of the School including admissions, examination related work, student’s activities and liaise with UGC, AICTE and other regulatory bodies. He/she is required to supervise and control day to day functions of the School.  He/She will work in close coordination with the respective departments of the University & Dean of the School.

Candidates should have Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scales. 10 years of experience as a Lecturer in a Institute or a University with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education OR 5-7 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post OR 10 years of administrative experience of which 8 years in the field of specialization or an equivalent post. Candidates with experience in Educational Institutes / Trusts / Universities/ Corporate will be preferred.

Regional Marketing Manager

Qualification Graduate / Post graduate in marketing, hospitality management or related fields.

Responsibilities
